Amazing getaway

My husband and I live in the Houston area and decided to book a long weekend getaway to Galveston. This stay at this 6th floor oceanfront condo was amazing! It is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, well equipped and super updated and clean. The patio is so comfortable and with a super close ocean view. We spent a lot of time on the patio soaking in the sound of the waves and watching the pelicans and seagulls soar. We loved the pools and lazy river, pool side bar, and the fun game room to play some old school video games that reminded us of our childhood. Grrr wake on the seawall and beach. Quick distance by car to the Strand for shopping and food. Also, the owner Stacy was amazing and quick to respond. We will for sure Be back to this Island Escape! 10/10!

Loved it here!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would love to go back soon! Perfect location for enjoying the lovely ocean scenery sitting out on the balcony. Tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Close to all the fun activities in Galveston. Friendly and responsive owners - everything you would want for a relaxing vacation!

Galveston island condo

This condo is great. Well stocked and decorated. Exactly as described. The amenities are all well maintained.For clarification you cannot see the beach from your balcony. You are viewing a Seawall and parking area. The beach is a short walk.It may have been due to recent weather, but the beach was covered in seaweed and not a great place to spend any time.

Fantastic getaway!

We went to celebrate our daughter's 8th birthday with a family getaway. This condo was beautiful, from the moment we pulled in! Checking in was really easy and fast, then to the room...breath taking view! It was spotless, and had every little detail thought of, from coffee to board games, it was spacious and beautifully decorated (just like the pictures).The pools were cleaned every morning! The gym had a great selection of weithgs, even up to 100lbs dumbells. The entire place was clean, friendly and safe!!!! So much fun. We swam, went to the beach, played board games, hit up the gym and the game room! Cant wait to book our next stay!

Girls' week

Loved the decor of the condo, made us feel like we were on vacation. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed and more. Perfect view of the ocean from the balcony. Will be back.

Spring break 2025

This property was a true delight! We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. The pool and lazy river along with the gym and game room were an absolute hit for my teens. The condo was clean and well furnished. The view and the patio were an absolutely fantastic part of my visit. This was an enjoyable quick trip.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

This property was immaculate and beautiful. As I said to my spouse, the unit was also “very finely appointed.“ wonderful furnishings, towels, kitchen, necessities, etc. For me, it enhances my experience when the bad sleeps well, the towels feel good, and what I have to look at is aesthetically pleasing. And this property fit all of that!Additionally, the view could not be beat! even though it was winter and cold for Galveston, we spent plenty of time sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sound of the waves.And the amenities of the property itself were amazing if someone wanted to utilize those. There was an awesome game room for the family, a theater room, and multiple beautiful pool pools and a lazy river!I would say the only potential drawback if any is there was no closet space for guest. There was plenty of drawer space

Anniversary

Nicely decorated. However the lack of the living room shade allowed way too much sun in. The primary bed is uncomfortable and the pillows looked well used. Nice coffee selection but the creamers were spoiled, I followed all of the household exit requests. We Felt the price of the unit not worth it for another stay in this unit. The unit TOTALY LIVED UP !! to the previous reviews ! the owners of this unit !!! leave no stone unturned when it comes to comfort and the amenities ! that the guest are awarded while staying here. BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY!!

We had a wonderful stay! We were there celebrating our Anniversary and my hubby's B-Day! This place has an amazing view! The weather was perfect so we really enjoyed the balcony. From the host to the service desk employees everyone was so nice, helpful and professional. We will be going back again. The cleanliness and the comfortableness of this condo made it so relaxing. I recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed. Right on the Seawall and minutes away from so many great restaurants and events! Hat's off to the Host, thank you for everything! #615 Diamond Beach is excellent!

This place is awesome! Five stars all the way. The condo itself is beautifully furnished with attention to the smallest details. It is immaculately clean and furnished with beautiful table wear, luxurious bath amenities, and great entertainment. The view from the balcony is picture perfect, and the facility amenities like the lazy river, hot tub and movie theater made our vacation one of the best we’ve had. Loved the location right on the beach. We definitely will be making a return visit. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful Condo / Fantastic Weekend!!!

My wife and I have stayed at lots of VRBOs over the years and we agree that this is one of our best experiences. The unit is beautiful and there wasn’t a single amenity that was missing.  We had an absolutely wonderful time and hope to stay there again in the future!

Island Escape

By far the best condo we have stayed in at Diamond Beach. Stacy has an eye for the smallest detail and the extra amenities and making her guest feel at home. Beds super comfortable, beach towels, keyless front door entry, huge refrigerator. The views are beautiful from the balcony we got to witness the super moon, sunrise and dolphins. We will be back! Great place to stay!

Bottom line is that this condo unit was a fantastic place to stay and I would happily stay here again. The condo was clean, very well equipped, and nearby the elevators. The only negatives I have are related to the Diamond Beach condo complex itself. There was a hurricane that passed through a few weeks prior to my stay, so many of the outdoor features had problems which is understandable. For those interested in the details, the main pool was closed due to the hazard of falling roof tiles, one of the two main elevators was out, and exactly one jet in the hot tub was functioning, but just barely. I definitely want to come back in the future to see if that is all resolved. There were a few other negatives related to the complex that I don't feel were storm related. One is that the water pressure (6th floor) in the main shower was weak so I used the shower in the other bathroom. While better, it was still considerably weaker than what you would get at a hotel or in most homes. In the game room many of the arcade/video game machines had issues or did not function properly. That just comes down to poor or improper maintenance.

Beautiful Condo

This was the most well appointed rental I have ever stayed in. Well organized and very easy to maintain. Lots of thoughtful touches that added to the fun and value. Only downside was pool was closed; but that is reflection of building maintenance, not the owners. Lazy river was open and we had much fun. Highly recommend. Will definitely return.
