Don't swim in the pool

Shortly after we arrived I went for a swim in the indoor pool and a few hours latter I was sick with nasal congestion and a sore throat. This pool was suppose to be a saltwater pool, a first and last time that I will swim in one. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have a river view but viewed the road.

I enjoyed the stay

I really liked the dining services, the staff was very courteous and friendly. I went on a conference and there were more than 150 people, yet everything went very smoothly. Only thing I was a little concerned about is that I am a vegetarian and there was no good dishes in veggie. But that might be because not many vegetarian people go there.

Wonderful Hotel

My parents hosted my graduation party in the royal suite. We had a desert party and everything went off without a hitch. I have traveld a lot and this suite was the nicest i have ever been in. The staff is very courteous and the cusine at Bruno's it second to none. I would highly recomend the Delta Hotel to anyone.

great meal

Have been staying at the Delta for several years. Service has always been very good but now they seem to have moved to the next level. We had dinner there recently and the meal and the service were both a cut above. Great job to all.

Not sure if I am the right person to ask

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: breakfast was expensive and not worth the price, smelly room
It was a busy weekend and all rooms were pretty much booked. I had been given a smoking room and I do not smoke. Upon entering the room, I had to ask the cleaning staff if the room had been made up. the bed looked lumpy and the sink was filthy. She said it had and we brought her in and she stated that it was a back up and would have someone look after it. By the time I came bac a couple of hours later the room was tidied up and the sink was cleaned. As previously stated the room stunk to high heavens and I bought a candle in hopes that it would clear up some of the stench. I left it burning....I know I know dangerous, but the smell!!!! I even left it burning all night...I could not sleep because of the smell and had kept my head under the cover for most of the night. Again, I realize that they had no other rooms, so did I enjoy my stay, yes, i met up with friends, enjoyed FREDROCK, but had a horrible sleep and and a overpriced breakfast. I informed staff at front desk and they were very nice and appolgetic about the situation. Did not get my moneys worth at all...
