Honest assessment of unit
Unit C502 needs some work to get up to par. Right off the bat we experienced difficulty in opening the front door to the unit. We had read on previous reviews about the problem with the door and the door threshold but had assumed it had been taken care of. Unfortunately not. It was extremely difficult to get in and out of the unit and required a lot of force to get it opened/closed. The living room furniture is outdated and too worn out and uncomfortable for our liking. One of the eating area chairs has multiple legs that are loose and my wife almost fell off of it when she tried to sit in it. We moved it aside and didn't use it any more so as to prevent someone from possibly getting hurt if it broke. The master bedroom had numerous receptacles that didn't work and was inconvenient to find one that worked so we could charge our iPads. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable and did sleep very well. The shower curtain rods in both showers were very rusty and needs to be replaced. We had placed a swim suit across one to dry and it left rust stains from the bar on it. The mini washer/dryer combo made it inconvenient to keep clean towels due to its small capacity. It was nice to have a table top fan in the guest bed room...unfortunately it hadn't been cleaned and was too dusty to be used. Overall, the weather was awesome and the Beach House complex is very nice and convenient, but we would definitely stay in a different unit there based on our standards.
