Good spot, but a few things

Overall we liked our stay. It had all the basics you need in a Vrbo stay. The inside was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the water pressure in the showers was good, the furniture was comfy, the location was 10mins from Fort Myers beach, and the beds were very comfy. A few things that we didn’t love is the code to enter the home was incorrect and we had to call the management company to get the garage code to enter the home. The pool heater was not on and was locked, so we couldn’t warm it up, so we didn’t use the pool much. When we arrived the pool’s filter also wasn’t on and it had some debris in it & needed cleaned. There were also cobwebs all over the screen covering the pool and the deck chairs and loungers near the pool. The TV in the main room is also fuzzy and obviously old, not sure how other TVs in the house are as we didn’t use those.

Sweet and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much! Everyone had fun in the pool and the location was very convenient. We did have a problem with the lock code not working in order to get in, but were able to easily contact someone to help.

Great house and location

Loved this house and location. Quiet neighborhood close to the beaches with shopping and restaurants very close by. We did pay for pool heat ahead of time but it was not turned on. So, it took a couple of days to warm up. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Great Location For Me

The house is what I needed. Furnishings are a bit out of date and house was not super clean when I arrived. The pool is NOT heated. You must pay for the pool heater for the entire time of your stay. The pool light and outside outlet by the pool do not work. The ice maker doesn’t work. So overall, a few things to fix with the house and the listing. Quiet neighborhood! The house worked for what I needed during my stay while I was able to work and visit my parents.

Not as pictured or described. Terrible communication with owner

1)This is listed as a heated pool. It is NOT HEATED; the owner knows that as well as the property rental company. 2) Not clean: felt gross barefoot. Some of the rugs looked and smelt like they have never been washed. 3)The pool is not screened in as it shows in the listing. There is a crappy, wobbly wire fence around the pool with a makeshift “gate”. 4)Unsecured house: Two of the windows (one in the smaller bedrooms and one in the master) didn’t lock. Owner claimed he fixed it when property management company came over and shut and “lock” them but they did not latch so they never actually locked. Felt VERY unsafe. This was addressed with the owner right away, via the management company, and he did not contact me starting from that night into the early afternoon the next day. Nothing. He did that knowing that myself and my children where without a place to stay in the middle of the night. That speaks to his character and how he treats his “guests.” Instead of being apologetic, the owner basically told me that I shouldn’t worry about the windows not locking and not feeling safe because it’s a gated community so it’s safe. 5) the pool has a leak so the owner has a hose running from the house to the pool that he just leaves there so it can periodically fill up. Not a huge deal however spoke to how the house is cared for. 6)Overall an very unkept house. They should be renting this for way less. You can spend the same amount of money on a way better property and owner.

Naja…….

Zuerst die positiven Punkte, die Lage des Hauses ist super und auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Jetzt zu den Unannehmlichkeiten, das Haus war bei Bezug nicht gründlich gereinigt! Die Teppiche waren nicht gesaugt, die Arbeitsfläche in der Küche klebte und Schubladen und Schränke waren nicht sauber. Das Eisfach lies sich nicht öffnen, da es völlig vereist war. Der Müllzerkleinerer (Essensreste) tropfte permanent , was anscheinend auch schon vor uns aufgefallen sein muss, da der Spülunterschrank schon aufgeweicht war. Auch die Bäder waren unsauber, in den Wannen waren Dreckränder, in den Schränken im Bad Abfall vom Vormieter, im Masterbathroom lief permanent die Toilettenspülung. Bis auf das Bett im Masterbedroom waren die Betten eine Zumutung, die Rückwände waren nicht mehr mit dem Bett befestigt und lehnten nur noch an der Wand.Die Terrassentür lies sich nur mit großem Kraftaufwand öffnen.Im Aussenbereich waren Lampen, Ventilatoren von Spinnweben überseht, Unkraut wucherte an mehreren Stellen. Zum Ende der Punkt, der uns wirklich fassungslos gemacht hat, dass Dach des Hauses war mit einer riesigen Plane abgedeckt, die bei Regen, Wind und den floridanischen Gewittern ständig laut geflattert hat. Wir waren bereits über 20 mal in Florida, so ein Haus hatten wir noch nie…….eine Rückmeldung ihrerseits wäre wünschenswert. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Nice Home Super Quiet Neighborhood

Home was mostly clean. Plenty of linens and towels for the stay. Plenty of dishes and utensils to use. A/C worked good. Pool was dirty with a broken skimmer net provided. No Xbox is provided as advertised. The 2 bikes provided were not adult bikes and had flat tires. Twin beds were not attached to the headboards. The tiny ants were tolerable but we left a day early after we seen a cockroach scurry through the laundry room. Close to beaches.

Excellent Vacation Experience

This rental turned out to be our favorite place so far! The location to events in Fort Myers with close proximity to the beach was perfect for us. There are so many things we appreciated about this lovely home. It was CLEAN and tastefully decorated There were plenty of dishes and cookware The garage had a wonderful assortment of beach chairs/umbrellas and pool toys The beds were the most comfortable we have slept on in a rental There are plenty of pool towels The key pad was easy to use I misplaced the email with the gate code and called the number from an email for assistance. A very helpful person got the code for me and re emailed the number to me as well. The pool was perfect! The view is gorgeous There were extra blankets and pillows The house temperature was very comfortable They provided great cable tv service There were more than enough paper products like paper towels and toilet paper that we didn't need to buy extra They provided dish detergent, soap and enough laundry detergent We are hopeful to rent the same home again next year!!

Not bad but won’t return

The house was spacious for my husband and I and our small child. It was nicely located in the Ft. Myers area and we liked the security of the gated neighborhood. The rooms were large and the kitchen and laundry room were well equipped. We liked that they had chairs and a beach umbrella in the garage for us to use. We rented the house mainly for the private heated pool and were very disappointed. The pool heater was broken prior to our arrival. The pool was freezing and we couldn’t use it for 4 out of 6 days of our trip. The only reason why we got it working was we found out the name of the pool company and made dozens of frustrating phone calls during what was supposed to be our vacation. The Vacasa rep wasn’t helpful and told us it’s advertised as “solar heated” which was deceptive. Once the pool heater was working, it was nice but the pool area needs a power wash and some TLC.

Holiday with family

The house was clean, well stocked and in a really good location for groceries and restaurants. The pool was warm enough for swimming. The house is set up nicely for 2 or 3 couples to stay comfortably.

Safe and Quiet

Great neighborhood in a gated community. 20 minutes from everything in the Ft. Myers area, so perfect location. Lots of room and comfortable beds. Good pool on a beautiful pond. Will stay here again for sure.

Great Location

House was clean and met all our needs. Great location , just a 10 minute drive to the beach. Heated pool which is fantastic in the cooler months but felt like bath water in July, kids didn't mind though and didn't keep them out of it. The neighbors are friendly and very peaceful gated community . We had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again.

Poor rental management and home upkeep

The appliances did not always work properly, the hot water heater went out and it took management 24 hours to fix it leaving us with only cold water to work with, the bathroom faucet sticks and the tv only got a few channels. Lastly, they give you a late check in (4pm) and an early check out (10am) but charge for the full day's stay. Other than that the home was fine in a clean and safe neighborhood

Great place to stay!

This property is a great place to stay. Beautiful home in a quiet gated community. The house is very well maintained and stocked with all the necessities and more. An added plus was the beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. Although we did not use them, there were two bicycles in the garage. The pool was very enjoyable and we used it daily. Check in and check out was very easy with excellent instructions. The only things we found to be substandard were knives in the kitchen — they were very dull. Next time I will be sure to bring a good sharp knife. Super property!

Great location close to Fort Myers Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk Isles. We were visiting relatives while working from the property. The location was great, very close to great restaurants and close to Fort Myers Beach. The house is great and we really enjoyed being able to use the pool during our work breaks. I highly recommend this house.

Perfect for our family

I chose this location as it is close to everything in Fort Myers. We have family that lives less than 10 minutes away. It was so nice to be close to them. All the stores you need are within minutes from the home. The house was very clean. The kitchen had all that we needed. We also used the beach items that were available in the garage. Quiet neighborhood, nice pool, a pretty pond to look at and the ducks were a treat to see every morning! I will recommend this home to my family who stays in Fort Myers often! Thank you .
