We got there at a little before 6 PM, we were retired. We flew all day, we’re older and we just wanted to get into our room and relax. I asked where I could get some water, the young lady at the desk that checked us in, told me I could walk to the gym and go to the water fountain. I said I’m looking for a bottle of water, I asked her where their Gift Shop was. She said oh it’s closed and that was 10 to 6 in the evening, I asked where can I get some bottled water and she told me I had to go out of the hotel down the block to the donut shop to buy water. I was so upset it is not a cheap hotel and then after I went and bought water, I came back and shared my feelings with the evening manager and come to find out. They have water in the room, but it is seven dollars for a small bottle of water. When they brought our luggage to the run, I asked if we could please have a couple of extra luggage racks, and we never got them like never. They’re trying to be a luxury hotel and they are very far from it. Why when you’re paying almost $400 a night for a room, would you have to pay seven dollars for a small bottle of water, that’s ridiculous. We were there for two nights and when we checked out this morning, the desk clerk asked me what our state was and I told him and he said they hear that complaint all the time and have talked to management so management said that they would have to charge a resort fee in order not to charge for water. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
