The check-in process was unnecessarily burdensome, requiring verification through a third-party company that requested selfies, ID photos, and other personal information. After completing all the steps, we were only provided one of the two required access codes, creating additional frustration upon arrival.The bigger issue was the condition of the property. Both air conditioning units were unable to cool the home, and we learned the following day that both systems had failed and required significant repairs. Rather than providing a livable accommodation, the host's solution was to offer fans during the heat of May while repairs that could take days were being arranged.As a result, we were forced to leave before completing our stay. Despite renting a property that was not habitable as advertised, the rental company is still attempting to retain more than 50% of the rental cost. This experience gave the impression that collecting payment was a higher priority than ensuring the property was properly maintained and ready for guests. Renters should be aware of these issues before booking.
