For an 8/10 rating, I was expecting something clean and well-maintained. This was not. The first room had definitely been smoked in, and we were given a different room when we asked to move. There were some bugs in the shower, and it did not look like it had been cleaned well. In the am, we passed a bucket and mop in the hall - water was very DIRTY, but had not been emptied and re-filled. This place needs some TLC or a lower rating - it did not live up to the standards for an 8/10.

This is the second time I have stayed here in the past month. Both times I reserved a king room and both times I ended up in a 2 queen room. The receptionist response was that she was just going by what was on her computer and that they had no king rooms available. Don't know if it is the motel or Travelocity but I don't like not getting what I paid for.

Severe weather issue, but a nice stay anyway.

Weather took out the tv first, then the lights. We used lights for phones, but only for so long. No way to charge them. No air conditioning, no ice machine, no vending machines. None of this was the hotels fault. A tornado came down in the next town over, so Mother Nature was the culprit. The beds and pillows are heavenly. Staff even supplied extra blankets (noteworthy, all power was out, and the staff went in the dark to get the extra blankets.) when we asked. Hot breakfast was very welcome after having little choice nearby for dinner, again, due to storms and power outages.
