Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was great quality although be prepared to wait for your food, service is slow especially if not seated by the windows. We had to ask to have a window seat on our last morning and it seemed an issue, but we were allowed one and oddly the service was much quicker. It felt like if you’d booked a premium room which we couldn’t as we had a triple room you had preferential treatment. Be aware if staying towards the back of the hotel over the underground garage it is very warm. We stayed on a gloomy rainy few days and our room was like a sauna. Other parts of the hotel were much cooler. The rooms were spacious and clean and well decorated.

A grand dame of a hotel. Extremely attentive staff and a great location. Some of the corridors are tired but generally the surroundings are very good. The in-house pub is also excellent.

Fantastic

We have stayed here previously while visiting our daughter at uni. Can't fault anything. The very friendly attentive staff, cleanliness, furnishings, beautiful rooms, delicious food. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you.

Fantastic location with stunning views over the harbour. Only a few minutes stroll into the town and attractions. Friendly staff. The building is steeped in history and must have witnessed incredible sights over the centuries. As such the building is best described as quirky which enhances its character, far more interesting than a modern box. The room warm, clean and comfortable with a small balcony to take in the view. Well stocked complimentary tea tray in the room, along with a dog bowl and a dog treat box. Yes, the hotel is dog friendly! Having stayed several times previously, I can assume the restaurant dining was the same quality. Having a dog limited dining to the Working Boat Pub below, but again very friendly staff and good quality food. Fabulous views too. Having my dog with me resulted in breakfast being served in the bar with waitress service. Again good quality food and stunning views. The bar a very pleasant location for evening drinks with a wide range on offer. There is free parking on site, but would suggest reserving a parking space prior to arrival. The hotel is geared up to do this. If you are a boater, the hotel boasts its own jetty for you to moor up to whilst enjoying the offerings of the hotel. In my opinion, the Greenbank Hotel is the best hotel in Falmouth, certainly my favorite, and looking forward to returning again.

We enjoyed the stay & one of the reasons we chose was dog friendly. The hotel catered well for the dog (treats, toy & bowl provided) but we found the room allocated quite noisy first thing with hotel porter noise with metal trolleys, etc from quite early. The room was quite warm so needed air from an open window. The room was spacious & well equipped. Breakfast with the dog was in the bar but was extremely slow & at one point we thought we’d been forgotten. It was a lovely breakfast when it arrived. The location is lovely & an easy walk to town along the seafront.

Really enjoyed staying here - I booked the cheapest room and it was still immaculate and really nice to be in. Staff really friendly, breakfast lovely and the pub by the sea is a great bonus. Good location - walked from the train station in 20 minutes.

The location on the harbour is spectacular. The staff are genuinely kind and courteous. The room furnishings are dated. The carpet in the corridors are stained badly. The bathroom was exceptionally spacious and the fixtures were high end and well maintained or are newer. The bed was comfortable. The room was too hot and there was no room thermostat or way to adjust the radiator that we could find. The beverage center with a bottle of water, assorted teas, coffees, kettle and Nespresso machine was superb. The restaurants are high quality and cozy. So this was really a mixed bag, some impressive highlights, so areas that could use a lot of improvement.
