This house was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. The space was perfect, the kitchen, gorgeous and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a beautiful drive up the mountain and fun with the 4WD. The area around the house was beautiful, especially looking through the large bright windows. Can’t forget the hot tub, which was exactly what we needed after a busy day at the Biltmore. Our host, Kyle communicated well and there was no confusion getting to the house or knowing what our responsibilities were as guests. All around great experience. Thank you Kyle!

The cabin was beautiful! It's way up the mountain which provided amazing views and lots of peace and quiet. The cabin included all the amenities we could need (I wish I checked before heading to the store!) and was very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aerie. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. It was nice being secluded on the mountain side but also close to Asheville and everything it has to offer. Seeing black bears right outside the window was a nice treat as well. We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Aerie! Everything was exactly as described and pictured—beautiful views, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.We enjoyed exploring downtown Asheville, hiking the beautiful Catawba Falls River Trail, having lunch at Hillman Beer in Old Fort, and strolling through charming downtown Black Mountain.The home was the perfect base for our trip. Highly recommend—five stars!

Amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. It was absolutely perfect and exactly as represented. The cabin was spotless and very well furnished - we didn’t need anything! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, hot tub and outdoor fire pit. The owners were very responsive with checkin details, etc. We could not ask for a better experience…highly recommend this gorgeous cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this mountain house over New Year’s. The house was very clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed with lots of extra and thoughtful perks. There were plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking, a coffee bar, and even robes for everyone to use when visiting the hot tub. The owners even left us a fresh baked load of banana bread! The views are the best and it was amazing to watch the sun rise. The comments about needing four wheel drive are not exaggerated because the last part does get pretty steep but it was perfectly fine with our car. This house was definitely one of our favorites and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

Beautiful cabin tucked into nature. The porch was wonderful and we wished we had more time to enjoy the hot tub! Good location to explore Asheville and its vicinity. Don’t ignore the advice to have an all wheel drive vehicle! The gravel road is steep in places, but the directions provided were easy to follow. I look forward to returning with my family!

Modern Cabin outside Asheville

We had an incredible time and I would recommend this house to anyone. It was modern, private, had a fire pit and hot tub. It was a newer house with everything you needed. Kyle communicated very well and took very good care of us. We have told all of our friends and we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you again!

Quiet and Secluded but not far away

I love the Fairview area, and this property was not too far from everything, and even the road (need 4wd) was not too bad to navigate. House was pretty much the last one and is new, and has pretty much what you need for a couple getaway its perfect (or for more, room for 4). The best highlight was seeing black bears coming around every morning and dusk foraging for berries. Mom and her cubs were super cute. Once you realize they aren't dangerous as long as you don't get close to them or scare them, you can simply talk loudly and they know to stay away from the house. Watching them from the deck or inside was really amazing.

Amazing “Cabin”

Everything in the cabin was beautiful. Owners are very detail oriented and we had all we needed. We saw bears and deer too. Be sure you come in an AWD or 4 wheel drive. It’s a very steep drive up the mountain. But worth the drive.

Modern Mountain Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Aerie! The photos don't compare to how truly nice this place is in person. The cabin was cleaned and stocked with everything you could need, including coffee and tea. There are a few grocery stores just a short trip away to stock up on anything additional you may need. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and plan on booking another stay in the future

Beyond perfection

This place was everything it said it would be and more. We stayed for two nights with another couple. Perfect layout for two couples. Aerie was clean, clean, clean. Beautiful views, beautiful rooms, beautiful furnishings. Nothing was overlooked, right down to make-up remover pads for the ladies, lovely robes for everyone, extra snuggle blankets, wood for the fire pit, even a little mason jar of chocolate. The fresh loaf of banana bread that was left for us was the icing on the cake. It's at the tip top of a narrow somewhat rocky road. Our host had warned us about this from the beginning and we had no trouble getting there. The juice was worth the squeeze. The only thing that went wrong was that we couldn't stay longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Girls getaway!

Beautiful place! But way to many bears for me! 7 different ones of different sizes came to visit. Every day we were there! Road was very challenging. But a wonderful place to visit to get away from it all. Thank you we loved your beautiful cabin!

A True Mountain Retreat

We had an amazing time at Aerie! Everything was perfect and clean. When they say 4x4 is required, don't ignore it! The house is up a small, windy, steep road. We have rented a few mountain homes over the past few years, and this one was by far the nicest. There was absolutely nothing out of place! We will be staying here again during our next trip to Asheville!

Loved Aerie!

We were looking for a relaxing stay near Asvhille and Aerie checked all the boxes! This wonderful property is located in the middle of the forest, the views and sunsets were gorgeous! The decor of the property was perfect and everything was flawless. Kyle and his wife are amazing hosts and we can't wait to visit Aerie again in the near future.
