Long day of driving..just wanted to relax. Website said restaurant open..breakfast available. Called to confirm before booking. Yes..breakfast available.."Not Continental ".Great. Called one last time to reconfirm the day of. No breakfast..just continental. Restaurant and bar closed since covid. Really...website says other. Well..incase you havent been listening to the news..there is no covid. So..we checked in otherwise we lose deposit. Hotel is located in seedy area. Listened to shopping carts throughout the night being pushed around etc. Then the unthinkable..my wife wanted to shower before we continued on our journey up the coast except no hot water in the shower. Normally shes pretty quite but this time she had enough...so we packed and left the hotel just after 7am. Pros- hotel looked good from the advertised pictures. Staff were friendly. Cons- location...no actual restaurant as advertised..musty, but thats expected being old and close to the coast. Others might have a different opinion...but for us...it wont happen again. Cheers
