It’s definitely chic and historic. Was not expecting the beautiful lobby when I entered. Has the antique smell, not horrible but noticeable. The oil paintings were a great touch and so nice. The attendant was very nice and check in was fast. It makes you feel like you’re stepping back in time. That said, headed to my room from the elevator and one look down the hall made me feel like I was in The Shining. All that was needed was a a kid on a big wheel. The rooms are a good size for a 3-4 person family on a short trip. The carpet was freshly vacuumed but definitely riddled with some stains. The beds and pillows were comfy and I slept very well. The tub was very deep, didn’t take a bath but was tempted to. There were very few outlets and the ones we had were being used by the television and room lights. With the one socket left, my husband and I had to share phone charging time.

It was too much money for NO service: no bell staff, no breakfast, no dining options, pool not heated and no towels. Understaffed and inconvenient. Price should have been reduced for the lack of service available.

Such a lovely historic inn. The lobby is beautiful! The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Historic Inn, nice room, and the staff was great. They gave us information on things that were open and restaurants that had indoor and outdoor dining, was a huge help.

Comfortable room in a Victorian setting!! Delightful! Great location, especially for the monthly Art Night - first Saturday of the month. And right at the same corner as the Morris Graves Museum.
