We enjoyed it! The generous screened porch and deck area are architecturally delightful; feels like an extra adjoining living room. We and our pups enjoyed the short walk to Jenkins Street and straight shot to beach access. The provided linens & towels and ease of checkout procedure contributed to our being able to take it easy –rather than scrambling to depart– at the end of our short stay for a weekend event. Graziemille!

Great place, will come again

We love the house and appreciate it's a pet-friendly property that we can bring our dog.We got everything we needed from the property. We also love that it's an individual house but it's located inside the Wyndham resort with beautiful ground and easy access to the beach. The resort and the town of Edisto Beach is bike-friendly. We had a wonderful stay.

Funky Pet-Friendly Chalet in a great neighborhood

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage over a long weekend with our two dogs. The ground floor is roomy and very pet-friendly! It's all hardwood floors so we brought dog beds so our old dogs had a cozy spot to lay. The stairs to the 2nd floor rooms are steep and slick, and our dogs couldn't quite figure them out. So I would recommend carrying your pup up the stairs or just sleeping in the first-floor bedroom, which is very cozy. The neighborhood was a great place to walk the dogs and within a short driving distance to the beach where they could run and play. There are also amazing restaurants nearby - Ellie & Ollie's is within walking distance and Briny Swine is just a short drive located right outside the neighborhood entrance. We also cooked a few meals in the kitchen, which was well-equipped with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. If the weather is nice, the porch is a great sitting spot. We saw tons of birds, squirrels and a family of deer roaming through the backyard every morning while we enjoyed our coffee. We rented in February so were hoping to use the fireplace, but we noticed the opening in the fireplace was boarded shut, so it is not functional. The home is still very cozy without it! Highly recommend this spot for a laid-back stay with beautiful surroundings!

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. Wonderful porch for coffee and conversation. The linens and beds were comfortable and clean, the showers had the best water pressure - a nice surprise in a rental. We will book in the future.

Weekend comfort

This is the second time we stayed in this cottage for a few days over spring break. It is clean and has fun decor. The back porch is by far the best spot in the house. The kitchen, however, is a disappointment. I realize it is not intended to be a home kitchen . But the cooktop is inconsistent, the pans don’t make proper contact with the surface ( which I mentioned last year) and the bowls/mugs/cups are a bare minimum . For a location like Edisto most know that at least some meals are prepared at home. And they a a ton of empty cabinets. !?!? Luckily I brought a few of my own pots and pans/ mixing bowls , cups and plates and we were able to cook up an Easter breakfast - and a pasta dinner - but without that - it would have again been a bust. Overall though clean and convenient for a weekend at the beach .

Cozy cottage

This is a lovely cottage to enjoy a quiet weekend at Edisto . It was clean and had plenty of interesting decor throughout. The back porch was favorite spot to enjoy the day and nature all around . All the ceiling fans were great ! The one critique I had was the lack of items to prepare food in the kitchen. Especially the pots and pans in the kitchen. Two of the cooktop pans, the only two, were so warped they didn’t make contact with the cooktop and therefore did not heat/cook evenly . Even eggs and pancakes were a bust . That’s an easy fix , though . Otherwise it is a great house !
