Was a hidden gemstone, with history to the site. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids loved the fire being lit in the bar area. Will definitely be staying here again the the near future for sure

Nice big rooms. The building my room was in was a little dated in decor , carpets and doors could do with a lift. The room itself was well appointed. Beds were a little soft. Staff very friendly, evening food very nice as was breakfast.

No hot water 2 out of 3 days so no hot showers Room was cold on arrival Wanted upfront full payment day I arrived (wasn't a problem but unusual as normally settle at end of stay) Hotel needs new life breathing back into it with investment No offer of a free drink for hot water issue or asking how our stay was going or if there was anything that could make it better Not 4* quality overpriced and food there is on the expensive side
