From the moment I arrived with my 17 month old granddaughter in tow, the staff were fantastic. Very helpful right up until we left the following morning. Room was comfortable and had what we needed. Enjoyed our stay at the Mercure very central to Brighton town centre. But hallways in the hotel could benefit with updating and a deep clean. There were places in the room that needed more attention to cleanliness like behind bathroom door, corner of room where tv was situated needed attention. The balcony could benefit from a jet clean. The staff were very friendly and polite.
