The Legend Hotel

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious (best eggs Benedict I have had). Drinks very affordable. Loved the entertainment. We did not hear any noise from our room. Can’t wait to stay again.

Comfy bed. Very quiet at night. However, fellow customers rise early and the floorboards are horrendous. If you are an early riser then what’s not to like. The breakfast looked incredible. I would stay again and do recommend. Right near the pier and town centre. Vibrant and lively.

It was at Brighton Marathon days when sitting in your room (sea view) you can enjoy Marathon wibe! Wonderful stuff, location! Yes, night life with sounds but ear plugs in a room already. Small room, but cozy, clean.

Overall good, some of the rooms are quite compact and shower performance was disappointing on this occasion (going hot and cold). I did mention this when leaving so hopefully this will get sorted out. Breakfast is good and fairly reasonable, £10 in advance and £12 on the day.

Pros: good location, nice sea view, decent price Cons: room sizes are not uniform, so recommend attention to what you receive. I requested one on a higher floor, based on other reviews about noise from the bar, but the only one available was basically the size of the bed, so it was a bit challenging to navigate. Also, due to construction, there were workers on the scaffolding just outside the window, so it was necessary to keep the shades and window closed for safety and privacy (though the window did not have a lock).
