Nice condition but

The hotel is located in the city center, about 10 minutes' walk from the central train station HBF and less than 10 mins' walk from Konigsallee and its stores. The hotel is very nice, but since there was no one at the front desk, I had to use the self-service machine to check in, but it didn't work and I had to wait nearly 30 mins for an employee to show up (no employees in the lobby or at the bar). Poor service

The hotel has been a favourite for my stays in Dusseldorf. The breakfast service has declined and they no longer cook eggs to order as they did previously. Seems that staffing levels have declined.

Hotel was decent, clean and safe. Internet was down for 3 days from Nov 25-27, and the staff did not have any solutions. I was relying on fast wifi for work but had to pay expensive data. This was unacceptable for what hotel advertised on their website that “ High-speed WiFi - an important building block in our carathotels service promise.”
