Reserve su estadía en el segundo piso de esta cabaña de nueva construcción, cuya cubierta domina el lago y las montañas cercanas. Esta casa aislada cuenta con muebles ricos y electrodomésticos de alta gama, así como mucha luz natural. El magnífico hogar de piedra alberga una chimenea de leña que mantiene a todos cómodos después de un día de esquí.

Si bien es posible que se sienta retirado en las montañas, las comidas y el entretenimiento de Durango están a solo unos kilómetros de distancia. Las pistas de esquí del Purgatorio son una excursi��n de un día fácil, por lo que esta cabaña es una excelente base para los deportes de invierno. El comienzo del sendero Colorado Trail está a solo una milla de distancia, así que prepare sus botas de montaña.

Beautiful cabin on a lake

I am a Durango regular and love this part of town. Hiking and biking nearby and a lovely drive to town. This home had everything we needed and was great for an October week with nice cool nights for sleeping

Great Location, Great property. Stellar view! Towel bars in primary bath need an Allen wrench to tig

Would Love to own this Property. The size is perfect. Thank you. I Loved the primary shower pressure, but the drain does not keep up with the amount. Drain clearing maintenance may be needed before next company. We turned water off frequently while showering. I tried to tighten the toilet seat on the primary toilet at the end of our visit as it was a bit loose/crooked, one side bolt seemed stripped, could not secure.

.No problems. Nice property and location. It could have been a little cleaner. The dishes and silverware did not seem clean, like they had been washed without soap in the dishwasher. We had to re-wash them before use. Floors were swept but not washed.

Outstanding property and hosts!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. Every amenity that you could think of is here. Kitchenwares, spices, sleds, extra blankets, etc., etc. The location is close enough to town that it’s easy to get around but remote enough to feel like you’re “away”. Beautiful views, gorgeous home. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Secluded but Close to Everything

My partner Matthew and I, Joseph, stayed in this home with my sister for an Autumn getaway. We all enjoyed the home very much. We were able to easily cook meals in the very well equipped kitchen, the bedrooms were clean, inviting, and comfortable. The dining area overlooks a lake that sparkles all day long. The decks were peaceful and we almost always saw wildlife while relaxing outdoors. It feels very secluded and peaceful, yet so close to town. Great location. The whole experience start to finish was very nice and we would absolutely stay in this home again.

Beautiful Home

Everything was great until electricity went out and we couldn’t get into the house for hours. After several texts with Vacasa and finally getting the correct lock box combination we got into a completely dark house. We didn’t have electricity until the next morning. We lost a whole evening of enjoyment. I feel everyone should also get a key. We can’t always depend on electronics.

Amazing Home

My husband and I recently spent a week at this property and absolutely loved our visit. The house is beautiful and outdoor porches have incredible views in all directions. The location was close to Durango but far out enough to enjoy the stars and feel like we were way out of town. When we rented the home we didn't realize the first floor had another rental unit (I may have missed this).

Beautiful natural location

It's nice to sit outside and see wildlife go by. It's a nice place and for the most part, we're very happy. Two points: a) the 6-hour difference btw check-in 5=4PM and check out 10AM is too long, should let check in be 3PM or check out at 11AM. b) the master bedroom toilet and shower floor tiles should be replaced. They are old, dirty looking and does not fit the place.

Great place to stay!

After a small hiccup getting access to the property, we really enjoyed our stay. The place is in a beautiful area and very quiet. The beds are extremely comfy and the place is well stocked. Would stay here again.

Great location and house but needs some updates

We stayed at the upstairs apt/house. Great location and house. But I found the king size bed uncomfortable but my wife didn’t. The pots and pans date from the last century. The Weber gas bbq didn’t work. There was gas but it just didn’t want to fire up. Something wrong with the gas/flame parts. The bbq grill looks like it’s from last century. For the price we paid for 3 nights it was not what expected. There were some positives about the place; like the spice, oil, sugar, coffee and tea cabinets were well stocked.

Beautiful Home!

This was a beautiful house and we loved the whole stay. Even the first night when we didn't have any electricity. The canyon that we were in was completely black that night and the stars were beautiful!

An amazing, comfortable stay with beautiful views framed through a wall of windows next to the wood burning fireplace! Very modern kitchen with great appliances and comfortable bedrooms. An amazing winter getaway— hope to return in the summer!

Our overall impression is, simply, Wow!

Our group of four adults loved this house. It felt like a real vacation for us - only a few miles from town, it is a serene and beautiful retreat. Great view of the lake! The house was very clean and wonderfully designed for easy interactions. Loved it. Will be hard to leave.

Loved the home, view and location

Some issues were: coffee maker didn’t work and we called but no one came. Important because a place to get coffee was not around the corner and we wasted time trying to address it. Toilet seat in hall bathroom needs repair. Could use a hairdryer. Couldn’t get TV in bedroom to show more than one channel and we could not find the trash barrels. A set of instructions for the house would be invaluable!

Well appointed cozy mountain cabin with great views but don't call it secluded!

The deck is wonderful - the cabin new and well appointed in very comfy, beautiful Colorado style! Very spacious for 2 and could be for 4. Location is also great - very convenient to town and hiking trails. However, renters beware! Read the fine print carefully. Buried towards the end of the "About the House" section is this sentence: "This rental is a part of a larger home that can be reserved all together for bigger groups, just contact Vacasa for more information." What they don't tell you is there is studio space below that can be rented at the same time! Vacasa makes it sound like the lower level is available if you have a larger group, but apparently what they mean is that they can rent both at the same time. That is not seclusion! Especially when it's in the summer and it's warm outside and the windows have to be open and you want to sit on your wonderful deck. We had no privacy and no seclusion! We could hear the people below us talking and moving around. We didn't feel comfortable talking or playing music on the deck - even softly. Totally feel this was deceptive advertising and felt taken advantage of. You shouldn't bill something as "secluded" when there are people right below you that you can hear easily. It was an invasion of our privacy. Very disappointing.

Wow! We had a wonderful stay. It was very close to town. Everything was exactly as depicted on VRBO. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the porch.
