Booked our room online, was told to check in at the front desk when we arrived. It was past midnight but the booking information stated there was 24 hour service at the front desk to check us in. When we arrived, the doors to the lobby were locked and required a key card to get in. We tried calling multiple times and no one answered. Finally, a guest walking out held the door open for us and we were able to walk into the lobby. We waited at the front desk for over 45 minutes, not a person in sight. I was worried one of the workers might have had a medical emergency, so we looked around in the lobby bathrooms and office, no one was there. We called the after hours line multiple times with no answer. Finally, after driving 16 hours and waiting there for over 45 minutes, we called the Expedia and requested a refund. Expedia reached out to the hotel as well, and could not get in touch with anyone. Expedia thankfully gave us a refund and we’re very helpful.
