The property was spotless and smelled lovely, we couldn’t find any faults at all . It was easy to get the keys and the cleaning lady was very pleasant and helpful. Our room over looked the centre of town which was lovely. Bed was comfy and the room was spacious with a sofa to watch tv. There was a small fridge as well as hair dryer, iron and ironing board kettle etc. I can’t recommend this place enough and the price is great. Only not suitable for wheelchair users as there is no lift. We will be back to stay.😀

Simply Perfect

This is one of my all-time favorite places I’ve stayed. My room was perfect with a great view of The Diamond. It was right by my favorite coffee shop & convenient to parking. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. I would love to return and stay here again.

Donegal House is a “self-service” lodging (though with full housekeeping as far as we could tell — the crews were there each day and offered fresh towels, etc.) right on the Diamond in Donegal’s town center. The rooms were very pleasant — but be aware that there is no lift and ALL the rooms are up long stairwells (ours was on the topmost floor, quite a haul with bags). Check in is by digital app (dodgy) or picking up card at the nearby Spar (easy). We parked on the street and there are close by car parks. Pleasant hotel if you don’t require “service”. Donegal is a wonderful town to visit.
