Was first visit, driving between Munich and St Tropez. Hotel has everything you would need for a nice stay, staff friendly, hotel clean, on the old style but typical of most in Italy. Parking easy, well located, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Wonderful spacious room with a view of the pool. Excellent bathroom / shower. Really nice clean pool with beach entries all around.Great breakfast. Safe underground parking. VERY nice and accommodating staff. Close to Restaurants of all kinds. Will stay there again next year. Garda is a MUST see

3 DAY STAY IN LAKE GARDA

THE HOTEL WAS OLD FASHIONED BUT VERY ROOMY, ONLY B'FAST AVAILABLE, NO ROOM SERVICE. THE STAFF AT THE HOTEL WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WE WERE IN DESENZANO AND STAFF AT A NEARBY BAR AND 2 RESTAURANS WERE NOT FRIENDLY OR WELCOMING. WE DID GO TO 1 RESTAURANT AND BY THE END OF THE EVENING THE STAFF WERE FINE BUT WE AVOIDED GOING TO THE OTHER PLACES NEARBY SIRMIONE WAS MUCH MORE COSMOPOLITAN AND EVERYONE HERE SEEMED MORE FRIENDLY

the service changed over the time..sometime bad and other time aweful. they take ten euro per night for parking and the other possibility doesnt seem safe. its far from sirmione..u have to be with car and its still far.. we had spiders and spiders strings in the room. thhey r not cleaning the room without additional payment.

Close to the lake, great value for money

We spent only one night in this hotel, the room was clean and spacious with two bedroom for 4 person. Good breakfast. Free internet and parking. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The room is old, unpractical and the night stands were dusty. The location is not convenient to any town. The lobby smelled of cigar smoke. The decor was old and unclassy.

Great place to stay

Unless you have some very specific needs or preferences this hotel does not meet, this hotel should not disappoint. It is clean and service is good. It was a problem-free stay for a family of two adults and two kids. The only thing that threw us off was figuring out where to park the car when we first arrived -- parking is in a private, secured area and there were no signs about what to do. We had to leave the car on the street with flashers and go in to register first. So, if you are going to the hotel by car, probably best to call in advance and ask them for instructions about parking first just so you are not confused during the first 10 minutes of your stay!...

An OK Hotel. Not a 4 Star!

The Hotel had large rooms, more akin to appartments with two seperate bedrooms and a living room. The room we got was facing towards the rear of the hotel and the view was horrendous. The hotel is quite old and in need of refurbishment. The service and breakfast was good. The pool was average and the location was a little away from anything.

Great apt for 5 people

we stayed in a family room for 5 which comprised of 2 rooms and a sofa bed, it was like staying in an apt. I really enjoyed it but you need transportation to get to the town which is also really nice to hang out in. the hotel has a nice pool and a restaurant in walking distance.

Very clean and stylish hotel.

Spacious rooms, elegant reception. Very good breakfast. Beautiful pool but be careful of the sudden changes of level and the rough surface underfoot. A shuttle into Desenzano and Sirmione would make this a perfect place to stay without a car. Not a problem if you have one though.

Hotel still under construction, many amenities not available.

Hotel was still under construction. It looked closed when we arrived. The pool and spa were not completed. Many areas unfinished. We had no keys to our room. We had to get the desk to let us into the room. We had almost no hot water. The price quoted for a certain number of people at the outset was not the same when it came time to pay. Later they added an extra person fee even though they knew the number of people up front.
