Amazing decor and overall vibe. It's one of the coolest hotels...BUT...the BEDS are some of the worst I've ever experienced. When you hear and feel the springs it's not a good sign.

It's a unique property, that combines historical significance with a luxurious setting. The room was beautifully appointed, though the service was spotty -- e.g. no toilet paper, bottled water, or kleenex replaced when needed. Noise from a private event in the Mercantile was a disturbance lasting past midnight on second night of stay. This was no fault of the hotel, but no apology was offered until it was brought up at check-out. Front desk staff was otherwise very helpful.
