This property was really a fun place to stay and nicely remodeled. The great hall in union station was still under remodel, so we can’t wait to head back and stay again! The location was perfect if you want to be near all the action.

We didn’t have blackout curtains and the AC was not working properly. The construction made the property worse. Usually our stays there are great. Just a bit disappointed this time.

The tram from the airport dropped us off right in front of the hotel. It is a cool old train station. They are still remodeling a lot of the public spaces, but it will be great.

This was our second time at The Crawford, the first was a happy mishap after missing the flight home from our honeymoon. The second a planned stay before catching a flight home from a stay in Breckenridge with our daughter. If you are flying to or from Denver its a 30 minute train trip landing you straight on the doorsteps of the hotel which makes for an incredibly easy flight. There is a bar serving small plates in the lobby with a comforting ambiance. All doors and elevators require your room key which is cumbersome but makes you feel incredibly safe. Both rooms were incredibly gorgeous and well-kept. I enjoy the eclectic and vintage atmosphere. I hope the renovations actively taking place within the lobby dont take away from the charm and character. It is certainly on the pricier end but provides ample amenities and its location makes it very walkable to other restaurants. Have i mentioned how gorgeous the building is!? It remains one of my favorite places to stay away from home.

The staff at The Crawford were extraordinary…and went out of their way to be very accommodating. My husband has Parkinson’s and they could not have been more helpful and anticipated our needs. They were all friendly, exceeded our expectations!! Kudos to them all.

The Crawford Hotel was absolutely beautiful, and we loved the overall feel of the place. The design of the rooms was spectacular, with a unique charm. We chose a room with small windows near the trains, and it was awesome. The courtesy Lyft service for up to 2 miles was a fantastic perk, making our stay even more convenient. The staff took great care of us throughout our visit. One point of feedback would be the current construction around the area, which impacted our experience slightly. Our room was missing towel hooks, likely because it is so new. Additionally, there wasn’t a dedicated space to work with a laptop, which would have been helpful. Despite these minor issues, our room was beautiful and the hotel’s historic and iconic ambiance added to the experience. We appreciated the excellent security and the proximity to the stadium and dining options. Overall, The Crawford Hotel provided a memorable stay, and we look forward to returning in the future!

Disappointed Hotel lobby was under renovation. We had to use a smelly service elevator. It felt really off for an almost 5 star hotel. The service from the front desk was good but unfortunately not enough to compensate. Room was nice. But again not enough to compensate the overall experience. Would definitely have stayed else where had we known ahead of time. Also Denver downtown is under major renovation as well. So I would just chose another destination all together if you have a choice. Hope this helps other travellers as I would have appreciated a heads up.

Pluses: -Beautiful transformation of historic building. -Rooms are exceptionally quiet, considering how busy the Union Station area is -Discounts and freebies at on site food establishments are a plus. -Great showers! -Good location with very good transit options Minuses: -$100+/day in additional fees and taxes not disclosed on website. -Furniture in room emphasizes form over function...very little flat, table space. -Terrible TV channel selections for an upscale hotel...also words and pictures were several seconds out of sync the whole time But overall would probably stay again

Rooms are very small yet charming. Be aware that the lobby is actually the train station so it’s filled with travelers, homeless, vagrants, and wonderers. No good restaurants .
