False advertising. I booked a "Newly Renovated" room, and when we checked in, there was nothing new or renovated about either of the rooms we booked. (We booked 2 rooms). The pictures they posted on travelocity are very mis-leading, and they were successful in fooling me that this is a nice, bright, clean place to stay. It was the opposite - dingy, old, bathrooms badly need renovation. I went to the front desk to ask for a refund and they did not even attempt to offer a change of rooms or even bother to ask why we were seeking a refund - just simply said "We do not provide refunds", and then went about their business. Very poor customer service at the front desk, and very misleading pictures (likely touched up heavily by AI). We will not be staying at a Days Inn again, and will ignore any marketing phrases that say "newly renovated" rooms.

Room was spotless and staff was courteous. We just had an issue with the card during check-in. Once we got to the room, the key card was not working so we had to go back to the front desk again. Other than that, everything was good.

Big surprise was that the shuttle to the airport is $20 per person. Not on hotels.com website or paperwork from confirmation. WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED IF FEE WAS MADE KNOWN AT TIME OF BOOKING, as there are other hotel options . Raised our room cost 40%. No charge to go from airport to hotel, only shuttle to airport. Room was clean, breakfast was fresh but very limited--everything prepackaged, no instant oatmeal, no fresh fruit likeapples or bananas.
