This was a perfect location for someone without a car. We were able to walk or use the scooters to get around the city. There were quite a bit of homeless on the 16th street mall strip, but I feel that comes in any big city. I still felt safe enough to walk around. The rooftop bar was always busy, so put your name down early or go during non-peak hours. The breeze was nice since the weather was warm. The drinks were priced for any larger city rooftop bar. I was disappointed that my first selection was unavailable, they apparently ran out, even though it was before 2 PM. At night, on the weekends, if you have a room on the upper floors, you can hear the music and crowd. Our room was on the 19th floor. The gym and bar are located on the 20th floor. We were upgraded to a city view upon an extra early check-in time. We were charged, but it was worth the extra time. A few disappointing things about the room was that there wasn’t a mini fridge or microwave. I had to call each time we needed waters brought up. The ice room is located on the 2nd floor, which is where their conference and ball rooms are located. There’s a nice, comfy, and quiet seating area there. They also have a seating area with a glass gas fireplace on the 1st floor located behind the elevators. It’s a nice spot to sit, sip your coffee, read a book, or people watch. They had a pool table, but it was closed due to Covid restrictions. In the lobby there are a few refrigerators with snacks, drinks, & bubbly.

We liked that it was down town. Other than that it was overall very disappointing. We paid almost $350 for a one night stay and got put into the only room they had ready... Sub-par room that looked straight at an ally roof top. The beds were really uncomfortable and the paper thin pillows were anything but desirable. The coffee machine only made espresso or decaf so we had to go elsewhere for a simple brewed coffee. As much as we loved staying right down town, we will be finding elsewhere to stay next time.

Great staff. Super friendly. I was getting into town early and called ahead to see if I could drop off my bags and they went ahead and let me check in early! The young woman checking me in was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little confusing at first, because the building actually houses 2 different properties/hotels, but once I realized that, it was totally fine. My room was on the small side, but I was alone so it was perfect for one person. They have an open bathroom concept, which they mentioned or maybe I read in the reviews, so you definitely have to be comfortable sharing with another person. The only thing I didn't care for was there was no drawers for unpacking your clothes and the hanging space was too small to unpack everything. I would definitely stay there again. The location was great. It was super close to the free Mall Street bus and it was in walking distance of so much!

it was near shopping and restaurants ,the Colorado food festival was 5 blocks away. The Jazz club was very near also.
