it was near shopping and restaurants ,the Colorado food festival was 5 blocks away. The Jazz club was very near also.

Ridiculous traffic noise!

Pros: The proximity to the convention center is nice.
Cons: More knowledgeable check in staff. Better hotel amenity explanations.
Location: The hotel is close to the mall on 16th which is closed to vehicles except mass transit which is free.
The hotel is nice enough as far as aesthetics are concerned. The check in desk is near a guessing game, it looks like it’s on wheels and temporary Ingress and egress doors are poorly marked. I was on the third floor. overlooking an intersection. The traffic noise was brutal and resulted in a couple of restless nights. Breakfast for $15 is a joke, Coffee and cereal with a boiled egg. Even the desk clerk advised to go elsewhere. The clerk indicated I probably would not get my Marriot points due to a third party booking. This hotels best asset is it’s close proximity to the Mall train and the convention center.

Rob, thank you for your feedback. While we can control traffic noise in a downtown location we should have offered a room on a higher floor to allow you to get some well deserved rest. Unfortunately it is pretty customary not to get loyalty points unless you book direct with the brand. I apologize if this was not made clear at the time of booking. We hope you will consider us again so that we can improve on a less than stellar past experience.
