Nice hotel in sub- standard area

Nice hotel in good condition, great helpful and respectful staff. Lovely pool and restaurant with quality food at reasonable prices. A 20 minute walk to beach area and long seawalk. The only negative is the surrounding area, which has very poor to non-existent sidewalks on a very busy, scruffy street.

We loved our stay here as it's a convenient walk to the Sanur Sindhu market, restaurants, massage, etc. The staff is great, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and the beds are cozy. The hotel is gorgeous and has AC, a big pool, restaurant, and an elevator. The airport is only a 30 minute drive. We will definitely stay here upon our return to Bali.

Where to start?? Just walking through the door you feel like royalty, with a fresh welcoming drink! The staff was so accommodating and the breakfast buffet was fantastic! Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was gigantic! Wonderful place to stay!

Buffet was pretty basic and regularly running out of items. 10-15min walk to beach and restaurants. Not a safe walk along a very busy main road. We had a pool access room but there was no step on rails to get in or out of the pool. We are in our mid 50s and I have a damaged leg so not practical at all if you have any restrictions

The Grand Palace Sanur exceeded our expectations. The staff and level of service were phenomenal. Our room was beautifully appointed with every commodity imaginable. We were even offered a showing room for our late departure from the hotel. This enabled us to freshen up before our flight home. The only disappointment was the poor condition of the footpaths outside the hotel. Being on a busy highway made walking to the beach and shopping precincts difficult particularly in the dark . The footpaths were very unsafe with broken and damaged sections. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would not hesitate to return. Repairs to the footpaths would make this a perfect accommodation choice when staying in Sanur.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable room ans beds. Abundant choices at complimentary breakfast, including of gluten free food. I felt very safe both at the hotel and also walking to night markets alone at night. Lovely swimming pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. Main road is noisey and heard from in room. Air conditioner fairly quiet but louder than my other accomodations in Bali. My room's toilet made a strange water leaking noise. By the pool there are sun lounger chairs however not enough as each time I went down by the pool there was not any available for me to use.
