"This Place"

If you are a "Lover " of peace having quiet time to reflect and dismantle stress; this is the place. Where you can see the sun rise, watch the white tail rabbit that visits, hear the water and sleep in a secured environment. This is the place.My sister and I celebrated my birthday there. We wanted a place that we could fish and crab. The house is clean and well-kept with all the amenities you would need. The town is small; one grocery store (IGA) but a lot of mom-and pop shops of variety. There is a bait store there as well.Yes, we caught some fish and a few crabs. Most were too small to keep but that was not important. To close, the owner who I communicated by phone was very pleasant and accommodating. We asked for an earlier arrival and he made efforts to accommodate us. However, we understood if this was not feasible. It was his attitude of making us feel welcome.Yes, without any reservation we plan to come back next year. If you want ro relax and take in God's beauty Without disruptions; This is the PLACE!

It was very small. Bathroom shower was slippery and unsafe. Property was very neat, clean, well-stocked, and check-n was easy. HVAC system was wonderful. We could not walk down to the dock due to having knee replacement surgery and no handrails. Very little to no shade from the sun even on the back porch.

A Perfect Week of Relaxation and Adventure

We spent a week here, and everything was fantastic. The house's location, amenities, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The kitchen was very well-equipped, making meal preparations a breeze. Everything was very comfortable. The kids loved their little nook and had a great time. We did a lot of kayaking, which was a big highlight for the children. During our stay, there were a lot of jellyfish in the water, so swimming wasn't an option. The area is very peaceful, quiet, and close to nature. We saw plenty of squirrels, deer, and rabbits, and even spotted several hummingbirds. In short, it was the perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Wanted for nothing!

Wonderful house, fully equipped with high quality furnishings, linens, and kitchenware. I really appreciated having the disposables already stocked like paper towels, TP, garbage bags, soaps/detergents. Also super handy were the array of cooking supplies like salt, pepper, oils, sugar, etc. Location is great, very quiet and short drive to town.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at this river home. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children.) Our children particularly loved sleeping in the loft/bunk room. The home was clean and it was so relaxing to sit by the water. We loved using the kayaks and fishing off the dock. Only negative was having to take our trash to the town dump… we left very early in the morning because we had a long drive home, and didn’t realize the dump didn’t open until later.

Fishing time vacation.

We enjoyed the pier most of all. The fishing was nice and we had some luck catching spot, croaker, mullet and a few skates. The week was very quiet and peaceful. We found the house to be very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was just having one bath. It needs a half bath or an outdoor shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again.

The home was actually prettier than the pictures. We were in town to visit with others for a weekend and the two places were located very close to each other which made it easy to come and go. Clean, great view, awesome kitchen ….We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Getaway!

This property was the perfect spot for a long weekend. All communication was easy, and when I emailed the host with questions, the answers were prompt and friendly. Fully equipped, up-to-date kitchen, and beautiful view of the water from the spacious den. It was chilly fall weather for most of our stay, but the outdoor space is perfect for enjoying a cocktail on the water. The location is great for exploring Northern Neck to the north and Gloucester/Middle Peninsula/Yorktown/Williamsburg to the south. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Stay

Deltaville was such a cute town and the property was amazing. The house is updated and right on the water. We loved kayaking and hanging out barbecuing and enjoying the view. I would definitely recommend this property.

Mother and daughter's weekend

We had a great time, loved the dock. For children if might need rails. We did some fishing, no catching, but it is early in the season. Beds were nice, and the house was full of all the small things we always forget, but always need. I was super happy with our stay.

cant beat the location for rest

Somewhat dated property, though remodeled to appear updated, the major functionality still dated. Example, the one bathroom, water pressure almost non-existant. 'Toys": kayakes and bikes in disrepair and not ready for use. We went out in the kayakes for about 1 hour, none of the harnesses for tying up are in tact. This said. We had the best view money can buy, and relaxed with every amenity within the unit.

Weekend Well Spent

Took my wife on a birthday weekend away with friends, and had the absolute best time. House was fantastic. Great living and common areas for family/ friends. Outside views were even better. Would absolutely stay again.

Great view!

I went with my husband, 2 kids (6 and 9) and elderly father in law. The view was awesome. There was plenty of room for all of us. The tub/shower did not have a grip bar which was a concern for my elderly father in law. We took a walk on the street and everyone we met were friendly and stopped to talk. There was lots of local options. We could not have asked for friendlier staff at the local maritime museum. The outdoor furniture was a definite plus. The kitchen was well stocked.

Great Place

Owner was very easy to work with from the first email to check out. You'll get all the information you need prior to getting there. The place is exactly like the pictures. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Great for getting away from the day to day grind. When the tide comes in so do the fish!
