This hotel advertises itself as 5-Star hotel, it is not. The staff is 5-Star and extremely kind and professional. Our room, although incredibly large, had not been updated since probably the early 1980’s. The condition was clean, but very tired and dated. The public areas are very clean and maintained but you can see there has been minimal investment put in to upgrade the property. The building the hotel resides in a wonderful structure and could be a very elegant experience. The bar could be charming and high-class but they stuffed an oversized projected television in one corner while having a live DJ playing music right under the projection. A very strange arrangement. The dining space ‘The Yellow Brick Road’ has great food and amazing staff, but the room is lit like a football stadium. Please, Raj Hotels, invest in this property. It could be so much better.

We had a wonderful dining experience at YBR during our stay at The Ambassador, Delhi. Special thanks to Uma Ji, Apoorva, and Deepa for their exceptional service. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly cared for throughout our meals. Uma Ji guided us with excellent recommendations, Apoorva ensured everything was perfect with her attentive hospitality, and Deepa added a personal touch that made our experience even more special. You get what you paid for, however the 5 stars rating is not accurate. Staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, with some shops and restaurants just a couple of minutes walking. The rooms/facilities are outdated, and shows the long time use they have been through. If you are looking for a safe, clean and good value place to stay, this is a good option. If you are looking for a 5 stars experience……you will be disappointed.
