‘Rose House’. BBQ and garden. Ideal for couples/families! Near town and seaside.

My home is in a quiet Art Deco part of Deal and on the doorstep of some of Deals ‘secret gems’ and lesser known areas of interest such as Hamilton Rd Cemetery (contains some of Deals oldest trees!) and St Leonards Church, built around 1180 (containing the oldest Saxon grave in Kent and rare stained glass windows).
The house has 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, a front room (2 seat reclining sofa and 2 armchairs), dining table and fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath/shower, a small toilet and a garden with BBQ and an outdoor fireplace. I brought my children up in the house and it is full of fun memories, laughter and music! Deal is very special place for me, full of kind people, live music, arts and nature (all the more beautiful when the sun shines!). There is easy access to a park, leisure centre, train station, local hospital (with a minor injuries unit) supermarket and takeaways! Have a lovely stay!

House location was a big plus. Train station, downtown Deal, and 2 major grocery stores (Sainsbury and Aldi) were a short 15-20 minute walk from the house. For quick grocery needs there was a Co-op store 2 blocks up the road. Train system very easy to use and allowed us to visit Canterbury Dover, and London during our stay. Our host was excellent, checking in frequently and very helpful with all our questions and her friend who lives nearby was also super helpful. A great extended stay and home base to explore England from. Full kitchen that allowed us to cook many great meals when we weren’t out exploring.

Great place to stay in a nice town

Really well equipped property in a quiet cul-de-sac, only 10 minutes or so to walk into Deal or onto the sea front. Co-op, pizza place and Chinese just a couple of minutes away. Easy to park outside. An excellent, comfortable place to stay. Internet signal was good and two of us were able to work from home without any issues - there's two desks in the house. Couldn't fault anything and the host was really easy to communicate with, simple check-in via key box.

Well-Equipped Family House

Unlike many holiday homes, this one was very well equipped with everything that we needed in the kitchen. There were even books and games for the kids. The house was within easy walking distance of the railway station, sea front and supermarkets.

Lovely home in deal

My wife and I stayed in this house for over a month while we positioned ourselves in Kent. It was a quiet, well-appointed, comfortable and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Loved the prompt communication with the host and the easy check- in and check-out. Would recommend 100%

Impeccable!

Amazing property. Fitted everything I needed splendidly. Me and my Labrador had an amazing stay. Short walk to the beach for amazing dog walks (even in the UK January liquid sunshine), plenty of space and very cosy open fire. Good setup for office equipment and comfortable beds. Adequate parking right outside the property. Easy to find, easy access and lovely neighbours. Would LOVE to stay again.

Für Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, nicht geeignet. Der Weg zum Zentrum/Strand etc. ist zu weit und Infos zu Abkürzungen oder Bus haben gefehlt. Schade das man den Garten nicht nutzen konnte da keine nutzbaren Gartemöbel vorhanden. 2. Toilette ist außerhalb des Hauses, diese Info hat gefehlt. Generell könnte man aus dem Haus mehr machen. Parken, Betten, Stauraum und Küche gut ( leider keine Teekanne)

Schöner Aufenthalt im Deal, Kent.

Das Haus hat die perfekte Größe für eine 4 köpfige Familie deren Teenie Töchter eigene Zimmer benötigen. Der Garten wurde nur zum Wäsche trocknen benutzt, dürfte aber ein wenig mehr Pflege bekommen, wenn man ihn wirklich zum grillen oder Abendessen benutzen möchte.. (das hat den Genuss des Aufenthalts aber nicht geschmälert) toll war das drei uk/eu Stromadapter vorhanden waren, das war ein Pluspunkt… es gibt leider kein free tv so dass man mit deutschen Streaming Portalen vorlieb nehmen musste, wer keine deutsches Abo besitzt (Prime oder Netflix) schaut in die Röhre… ist ja aber auch Urlaub.😊 Alles in allem kann man das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen auch weil das Parken vor dem Haus kein Problem war… die Konversation mit der Vermieterin war super freundlich und immer sehr schnell auch wenn sie nicht vor Ort war… Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Unser erster Englandurlaub

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub mit den zwei Hunden in Deal sehr genossen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Das Zentrum ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, die Stadt hat als ehemalige Hafenstadt Flair und ist touristisch nicht überlaufen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele interessante Orte und Plätze zu entdecken. Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sehr gut funktioniert hat! Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Gemütliches, toll ausgestattetes Ferienhäuschen in Deal

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Alles war zum Besten für uns gesäubert und vorbereitet, Kekse standen netterweise zur Begrüßung bereit :-) Die Gastgeberin stellt ihren Gästen wirklich alles zur Verfügung, was benötigt werden könnte! Über gutes Kochgeschirr, einen BODUM~Kaffeekocher, Einkaufsbeutel, einen Föhn bis hin zu Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler war wirklich alles Wichtige ...und darüber hinaus...vorhanden. Auch waren im Küchenregal Grundnahrungsmittel wie Kaffee, Mehl und Zucker zu finden und es gibt eine große Bandbreite an Gewürzen. Es gibt ausreichen Handtücher und auch Badvorleger zusätzlich zur freien Verfügung. Das finde ich schon außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend. Eine zuvor wohl kaputt gegangene Feuerschale...diese war in der Beschreibung des Häuschens angegeben worden...wurde von der Vermieterin umgehend ersetzt indem sie eine neue bestellte und diese...trotz ihrer Abwesenheit... liefern ließ! Mrs Douglas hat in einer Mappe für Besucher festgehalten, wie die elektrischen Geräte zu bedienen sind und Hinweise zu Strom etc.gegeben....alles sehr einfach und hilfreich :-). Ich hatte Freude an der Kommunikation mit Ms Douglas per Emails. Sie war sehr freundlich, hat immer sehr zeitnah reagiert und auf aufgekommene Fragen geantwortet. Leider war sie zu der Zeit nicht vor Ort in Deal. Ich hätte sie gerne kennengelernt und wünsche ihr weiterhin viel Erfolg mit ihrem hübschen Ferienhäuschen! :-)

Genau richtig für eine ruhige Woche in Südengland. Super nette und entgegenkommende Vermieterin. Das Haus liegt zentral in Laufnähe des Strandes. Fußläufig sind auch mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Gut ausgestattetes Haus in super Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Ausgesprochen nette Vermieterin, die bereits im Vorfeld alle wichtigen Informationen mitgeteilt hat. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Fussläufig kommt man bequem in den netten Ort und an den tollen Strand. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Die Ausstattung war gut. Die Schlüsselübergabe war super. Zum Strand läuft man nur 15 Minuten. Die Doppelbetten sind etwas kurz, sonst war alles gut.
