Not for us
The cottage was very stylish,well equipped and very central for the beach and the centre. However we found that it wasn't for us.
The polished concrete floor looked very smart and was easy to keep clean but the three steps down into the main room need some definition as when you walked in it was easy to miss the step which I did and nearly landed on the floor. I did in fact put a plant and basket on the steps to draw attention to them. The settees have low backs which we found uncomfortable and wide seats which were hard to get up from. The shelving in the kitchen area was quite high and reaching for plates was a bit of a stretch. The outside courtyard was really nice.The beds were comfortable,but the downstairs bedroom was very noisy..We felt that for an architect designed house a downstairs toilet would have been more useful than a utility room. The bath was quite high sided and narrow which we found a bit difficult.I know we are in the higher age group but we are still considered reasonably agile but we feel this property is for much more suited for younger people. Also we were surprised there was no welcome pack as has been provided by Keepers Cottages in the past ,not even the coffee pods as were promised. Finally I'm pleased we didn't arrive
in the evening or in the rain as the key safe was a nuisance to get to.
