Not Fair for what we paid

Eberything with the hotel was great except.. the whole reason we came . We came to spend time with family and let the kids swim. There is nothing telling us that the pool is closed for several months.. We didnt find this out until after booking non refundable rooms and therefore was nothing we could do.. I think that is prettybsorry not to put something on your sight about this since we just spent our hard earned money for family time and could not even use the amenities that the hotel offers.

All in all a good hotel

We went for an extended weekend. The good: check-in was very efficient, the rooms are spacious, the location was convenient. The not so good: Breakfast was OK, the shower system was not so convenient, the bedding could have been more premium (funny little pillows and the comforter was not enough).

The property was convenient to the Kay Bailey center. The hotel was clean. We did have to ask for extra towels. You could continually hear the water running through the walls, like a waterfall. We were put in a handicap room. The roomy area was good however the beds were low. Overall our stay was good.

They had a Free Palestine parade one night - very loud. Several nights it sounded like car races going on - loud revving of engines. The windows are old and not a sound barrier at all. Only valet parking recommended at the hotel - which was twice as much as the parking ramp one block over.

This hotel was conveniently located to shopping, Farmers Market and dining choices. The shower was nice as well as a comfy bed-pillows not so much. The desk employees were cordial, however, after a valet assisted with transferring our luggage to the cart he did not offer to deliver it to our room as other hotels always do. My biggest disappointment was the pool being repaired & closed all 3 days during our stay-this was the main reason I booked this hotel so might be good idea to phone ahead if you’re a lap swimmer as I am...FYI, there is no bar.
