Crested Butte boys trip

Great house! Modern/updated… had everything you would need. 3 great days of skiing and hanging out in the house with private hot tub on the second floor deck. Great location on the mountain with easy walk to the slopes. Would absolutely go back and stay there again!

Ski Trip to CB

This house was absolutely stunning and worked perfectly for our group! 3 couples, 2 small kiddos (under age 5), and 1 single person. We had plenty of space and did not feel on top of each other. It's not really ski in ski out, but still not far from lifts where you could walk or just take the free shuttle.

Beautiful mountain home for a family vacation!

The pictures of this home and the views do not do it justice. The views are amazing, particularly while sitting in the hot tub after skiing. Our large family had plenty of space to either gather as a group for a game, watch football downstairs or relax separately and read a book. It’s a quick walk up the road to jump on the nearest run or a 5 minute drive to drop off or pick up at the base area. Highly recommend this home in Mt. Crested Butte!

Lovely Stay!!

This house is very comfy and fun, and it’s a great location. Kitchen was very stocked with all the essentials plus a crock pot. The property manager was super responsive to our questions before and during the stay. Great choice for a fun ski weekend!

Winter Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was clean, spacious, and has plenty of amenities. For winter vacationers: The gold link lift is accessible via homeowners trail. It's a 0.3 mile walk down Ruby and up Anthracite (5-10 min). We found the front lock was a bit finicky in the cold. Just some notes to help with your stay. Overall we highly recommend!

Wonderful stay in a wonderful house

This house has plenty of room for everyone and yet is still very cozy. Beds were all comfortable, bathrooms were exceptional, the gas fireplace on the upper level was really nice on cold mornings. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated all the extra towels. The kitchen is extremely well furnished too. We skied everyday and appreciated the storage lockers for our ski stuff. Extra praise for Shawn who helped us fix the door lock and was just a super friendly and extremely helpful person. Would definitely stay again.

with a wide range of ages, the house was perfect for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped which was nice since we cooked all our meals in. We ate all our meals on the deck enjoying the view of the Elk Mountains and the deck heaters. We have come almost every Labor Day since 1990 and stayed in a variety of lodgings and this was one of the best-cool decor, comfy beds, areas for games and lounging and a well stocked kitchen (sharp knives and a rice paddle!! but no garlic press)

Wonderful Home/Location

We stayed at the home for a week. The house is a wonderful place to stay, amazingly designed (kudos to the architect) and had everything we needed for cooking, bedding, games, etc! A few things about this house: 1) It's an amazing place and we'd stay there again, 2) It's about a 7 minute walk with your skis to reach the ski hill that takes you to the "Gold Link" ski lift. 3) the hot tub is a nice one! 4) We didn't rent a car and were able to walk to the shuttle bus without any issues, and 5) we highly recommend this place to others

Mountain getaway with a great view

Great place to stay with a group. The view from the deck is spectacular, ate every dinner out there with the gas-powered heaters going. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked.

180-degree views of mountains

Beautiful panoramic views from the kitchen and living room of surrounding mountains. Loved the deck area with large table, grill, and fire pit. We liked location up on Mt. Crested Butte. Our 3 granddaughters shared the bunk room, our daughter and husband had their own room and so did our son and wife. The master suite is very nice with spacious bathroom and lots of storage.

Good Vibe

My business is Architecture and Design. I felt at home in this cool place.. Everything you need is there. My only complaint is the overwhelming room spray or some strong cleaner that was used prior to the arrival. We had to open windows. Hopefully the owner will read this and discontinue the product. Overall…..AWESOME!!

Great Place for your Crested Butte Ski Vacation

This a beautiful house with all the amenities you will ever need for a perfect ski vacation with family. The westerly views off the deck capture the Colorado sunset over the mountains as you relax apres ski style with family and friends reliving that day's adventure up the T bar. Everything is well supported and true to the description in the listing. The house is well located in a neighborhood convenient to the Gold Link lift which makes rallying at the Umbrella at the beginning and end of each day easy to do. The Homeowner's trail gets you close enough for hand grenades. It's not ski, ski out so you have to get creative on the logistics. A quick drop off at the top of the hill and then the driver parking down by Goldlink (Prospect) worked nicely for us. We had a great time and can see ourselves at Ruby's Nest again some time soon. What I heard is the white snow gives way to a valley of wildflowers in the summer time. Worth a visit to see that.

Excellent property and location

This was the perfect property for my husband and I with our adult children. We had plenty of space for the 8 of us. The gathering areas are large enough to feel comfortable, and plenty of space at the kitchen table to eat and play games. The hot tub was welcome relief at the end of the ski day. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of plates, cups, flatware, etc for everyone. Plus everything you’d need to cook great meals. The location was close enough to town for us (we had a car), and it was easy to get to the Gold Link lift without the hassle of parking (drop off to quick trail is just a couple blocks). All in all a great place - and we will stay there again next time we visit CB.

Great place for a family vacation

This property is a great place for a family vacation in a beautiful location. The layout is very user friendly and great for kids, teenagers and adults. The downstairs entertainment area is perfect for movie/game nights. The heated floors were a nice surprise also. The large windows made the view even that much spectacular. The hot tub is a perfect way to unwind for us after a long day of skiing. Great place to stay.

Beautiful House and Views

The house is brand new and is absolutely incredible! While the interior of the house is impeccable and comfortable we spent every available moment on the (covered) patio. Either enjoying the views from the sitting area with the gas fire pit, enjoying drinks and dinner under the gas heaters on the outdoor dining table or soaking in the salt water hot tub under the stars at night we couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Enjoyed our stay

This was a nice, comfortable home for our group of 10. Loved the deck for outdoor relaxing after day hikes. That view is truly unbelievable. Loved watching a couple of great thunderstorms roll through from that vantage. The home was clean upon arrival. Bedrooms and baths were comfortable and were perfect for our group. Overall, our stay was great. There are a few things we would recommend. Photos on the website portray the interior as much larger than actual. It was fine as we were out a lot and the kids were generally downstairs when we were there. Cooking for a group of 10 was challenging as cooking pans were limited. After the first breakfast, we opted to do take out / dine out going forward. I would strongly recommend purchasing a couple/few more. Light and ceiling fan switches, especially in main area, need labeling due to the number and uniqueness of the set up. The hot tub water was quite cloudy - almost over treated. I'd recommend posting your check out instructions at time of booking. I may have missed them, and perhaps they are above what we normally expect with VRBO's given COVID. But we did not expect to have to clean and put away all dishes. We usually load and start the dishwasher, but this additional time requirement forced us to change our plans for the final day. A heads up on that would have been helpful. Finally, you may want to check the outdoor sprinklers. During our stay, some seemed to be positioned to spray directly into open windows of the home. Particularly the master bed and bath as well as a window in the stairway. Again, overall, great location and home. Thanks.
