Spectacular modernized simple Farm House
Great stay! It is a farm house so don't expect the Ritz. The house is very tastefully rebuild and furnished. The expanded living quarters/ kitchen all about spending time together in a great space. We found everything we were looking for, the sonos system worked like a charm and so did the hot tub.If there was one suggestion to the owner, the stair to the second floor should have a handrail for people that are not super mobile. Currently it is a steep stair without anything to hold on to. Location fantastic, only 5 minutes off the Taghkanic but super quite and you feel like in the middle of nowhere. Will definitely consider coming back.

Not What you would expect...
From the moment you walk up to the front door you are greeted several animal bones piled to the side of the front patio, then you procees inside, a side door was left unlock, the porch doors are hard to close and latch. The outside porch is infested with wasps, the hot tub has hip level water and wasps and beetles within the tub, inside the house there were beetles and wasps in every window sil. It was a battle in communicating with the host, i had to get VBRO invovled and even then it wasnt great. Moral of the story, wont rent from this property management company or VBRO again. tporch the

Beautiful setting
The house is located in a tranquil and exquisite setting with sound of crickets and cicadas and full views of the stars at night. It’s a drive to any coffee or restaurants but worth it if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Beautiful and quiet space!
Generally very happy with our weekend getaway. The property was private and quiet and loaded with deer which was awesome! Great features jn the home, but we were disappointed that the gas/electric fire place in the center of the main room was off limits and the hot tub was not in any condition to me used (half full, full of bugs, leaves and dirt). The working fireplace in the living room was lovely but we were only left 3 logs, so make sure to pick some up when you visit town. The dust-buster was also our best friend as there were dead bugs every where (might just be the time of year). The porch was lovely and the sound of the bubbling brook nearby was very relaxing. All in all, great stay— I think the home owner just needs to update their post to reflect current offerings as otherwise it is a really quality property— we were just disappointed as we wanted a house with a gas fireplace and hot tub!

Great stay!
Beautiful house stocked with useful items that normally don’t come with rental houses. Couple small things: the central wood burning stove wasn’t working and was not disclosed to us. Also there’s no TV which isn’t the biggest deal but would have been nice to know. Kids were looking forward to movie night. Hot tub is amazing!
