The Hotel Lobby was under renovation.

Pros: The personnel was extremely kind and responsive.
Location: The location was convenient.
Other than the Lobby renovation, the experience was uneventful.

Good hotel for ballgame trips.

Pros: The staff was good and it had a restaurant/lounge that was nice.
Location: Close to sports stadiums, entertainment areas, and parks.
This hotel was located in good proximity to both stadiums and had a dedicated bus route to and from the games. The surrounding area was a little sketchy, but the hotel property itself was fine. Easy access in and out and plenty of on-site parking.

Go next door to Marriott Courtyard for $20 more and go form 1980 to 2016. This hotel shouldn't charge over $100 a night at best. Mattress was no better than a cardboard box. Bathrooms were oddly updated somewhat but the rest is sketchy. AC was either freeze to death or hot and humid. Hard to believe 2 degrees would change it that much.

Horrible my card was charged and they stated they never received it. Had to pay with different card and first card has still not been refunded. would not stay there again!

One night stay.

A little overpriced for what you get, but comparable to the competition. Location is the best feature, no doubt. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Hotel was under construction, and even though that made the parking lot tough to maneuver in places, they did a great job of limiting mess and noise. I was surprised that for $162 (180 after tax) that my room had neither a fridge nor a microwave. Only real complaint is have is that some of the towels in the bathroom, while freshly laundered, we're stained and the cleaning staff failed to put a coffee pot back in the maker and the coffee filter from a prior guest was still in the top. I didn't use it obviously, although I had intended to before discovering those two oversights. Overall, I would rate 3 out of 5 stars.

Staff was very nice and helpful, room was comfortable, price was pretty reasonable. Didn't like that you had to pay for breakfast and there was no microwave or fridge in room.

Horrible Service

We went to this hotel so we could stay and watch the Riverfest/WEBN fireworks. We arrived at 3pm to check in only to be told by reception that we would have to wait for our room. We were told that they had late checkouts, had a shortage of housekeepers and there were 6 people ahead of us to get a room and she wasn't sure how long it would be to get a room. I informed them how could their housekeeping be understaffed since you knew you would be a full capacity? They didn't have an answer to that. I even informed them that my daughter was sick and needed to lay down. (She had her colon removed last year and doesn't do well in the heat and becomes dehydrated very easily). Their response was to go to the pool. The heat index index that day was 100 degrees outside. Taking a child to an outside pool that is prone to dehydration in afternoon heat wasn't even an option. I thought they would move us up on the list to get a room but they didn't, even though my daughter was lying down on the couch in the lobby. They made us wait an hour and a half before they put us in a room. It was just sad they had no compassion for a sick child or a stressed out mom who trying to give her child what she needed.

Fun Trip to Cincinnati

My husband and I drove to Cincinnati to see the St. Louis Cardinals play the Cincinnati Reds. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Covington, Kentucky, which is about a 5 minute drive from Three Rivers Stadium and several other excellent attractions. We were delighted to find that a shuttle to the ballpark stopped right in front of our hotel, and it only cost $1 a person each way. We didn't have to fight the traffic, find a place to park, and I'm sure it would have cost a lot more than $4 to park. You can also take the shuttle to other nearby attractions and shopping, making the hotel's location was very convenient. The hotel was very nice, clean, and quiet, and we would definitely stay there again.

A positive experience

When I first arrived, the outward appearance of this hotel caused me to question my choice in lodging.  However, I had a very positive experience here.  My room was clean, my bed was very comfortable, and the hotel's staff all seemed courteous.  On the downside, the area around the hotel seemed a little sketchy and might not be the best place to bring young children.  But at the same time, the hotel had a nice little exercise room and restaurant.
