Great house and location, poor housekeeping

Our stay was great. We really enjoyed the house and location. The only negative was the cleanliness when we arrived. There were dog hair balls throughout the house that we had to vacuum and actually had sand in the beds. On the one twin bed there actually was a shoe print of sand on the sheet when we removed the bedspread. But other than that, it was a great week ad will consider renting again next year.

Location Location Location

This home was in the perfect location, the home wasn’t the best looking home in the neighborhood but it has everything you need for a nice vacation. It was clean, had good space. However the negative was that the gas as well as the charcoal grill could not be used, this was a downer. The owner needs to consider putting some money into the home to make it a gem. The check in was easy, the property management was great. If you are a house in a wonderful location and don’t need all the jazz this is it! By the way, this property accepts pets and you would never know it. Thank you

Wonderful House and Views

This house was perfect for our family of eight and 2 dogs. We had ample space for everyone and a ton of deck room. One drawback was there wasn’t enough deck furniture on the main deck facing the ocean, and no furniture on the deck off the master suite upstairs. The pool was terrific and very clean upon our arrival. There was a heavy rain on Tuesday, and company came out to clean it on Wednesday. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. There was only one fridge and it was on the smaller side, but we had a big cooler to keep drinks cold so it wasn’t really a problem. The walk to the beach was very quick- I counted 170 steps from the driveway to the entrance walk on the beach 😊 Overall we had a great time and would recommend this home!

Cooper’s Annual Beach Trip

This was our second stay and it was even better than last year. This year my older sister (we are all seniors) joined us and really enjoyed her stay. This house and huge backyard is perfect for pet loving parents. Our 2-yr old mini Aussie “Cooper” loved playing in the backyard. I’m still sore from throwing balls and frisbees all week and our daily walks in the neighborhood and the beach. One of the best trips ever and we will continue to make this an annual trip that includes our four legged family member.

Great to be back!

We stayed in this property last year for a week. This year we stayed 2 weeks. The property was great! We had storms the first week and beautiful weather the 2nd. The management company did a wonderful job. The property was clean on arrival and pool was crystal clear. The pool was re-cleaned after the storms (lots of sand) without us having to contact anyone. It was fantastic. The maintenance company was in the area and stopped by to let us know the slats were loose from the storms on the deck (still storming). They fixed them promptly again without us having to email. The property was fully supplied with kitchen items for cooking meals. They had added mounted TVs in all the bedrooms. The TVs, billiard area and games supplied were very useful during the first week. It was a wonderful stay regardless of the weather!

Cooper’s first beach trip

This was our first trip to Corolla and our first time taking our pup. This property was perfect for our dog. The extra large backyard was our favorite. The pool was a good size but unfortunately it’s not heated and the weather was on the cool side so we didn’t really benefit from it. The house was clean but somewhat dated but very beachy and spacious enough for just my husband and myself. We basically closed the doors to all the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor since we were only using the top floor. Our king bed was very comfortable. We loved the laid back feel of the neighborhood and met so many nice people on our multiple daily walks. If I could make a suggestion to the owners it would be to replace the outdoor furniture, specifically the pool area. The chairs are badly rusted and falling apart. Unfortunately, the first time I sat in one of the chairs it ripped my dress.

Puppy Palace

This house was perfect for my family and especially for our dog! It was wonderful to walk around the neighborhood, a quick jaunt to the beach and the huge fenced in back yard was the icing on the cake! It was an older home, but one that I felt comfortable in with a pet. Thanks for sharing your home.

Dog friendly

Be prepared for an old and dated house. But, I would rent again. You're so close to the beach, access is just 2 houses down. Though not beachfront, you have great ocean winds and sun rises. The back yard is what I love the most. It's massive and fendced in, the dogs had so much fun chasing each other and playing fetch. Then they would relax in the shade while we hung out in the pool and enjoyed the hot tub. Being off the main road and secluded, allowed the dogs to be off leash and really enjoy their surroundings. Also, the whole family really enjoyed the pool table.

Amazing stay!

We were blown away by the property and proximity to the ocean. We LOVED the giant yard and so did our dogs! The pool and hot tub were immaculate and we loved every minute. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Corolla is very nice city and we also liked the Ocean Hill allotment.

This is a nice property, but is in need of some maintainence on the deck areas. The wood is old and needs replaced. This property is in a very nice allotment but needs to be updated.

House was very well equipped. The distance to the beach is a very short 1 min walk and beautiful views from the home. The house could use some updating but was very clean upon our arrival and the maintenance manager answered emails with any questions or issues almost immediately.

Great beach house!

We had a great stay at this beach house with extended family! Property was clean when we arrived, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. We noticed 2 loose porch rails on the upstairs deck, and property management sent someone right over to secure them. Convenient location, beautiful ocean views, well-equipped kitchen, and we loved that our pup could come with us. I have a feeling we will be staying here again!

Nice Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was plenty large enough for our small family (myself, wife, toddler son, and dog). The house does need some updates and a deep cleaning. There were a handful of boards popping up on the deck(s) and we needed to sweep the main level the night we arrived. Other than that, the location is perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful views with only a very short walk to the ocean. The pool and hot tub were great and we spent a lot of time in the two. One morning, we were visited by the pool maintenance lady; which luckily we weren’t planning to utilize the pool that morning. My wife and I played pool a few evenings after our son was sleeping; which was fun. The town was only a short drive from the house and not too crowded, but may have been due to our time there was before Memorial Day Weekend. There seemed to be a lot of maintenance in the neighborhood (roof repairs, siding, etc.) so some mornings we were woken up by hammering and other noises early in the A.M. (again, probably due to the proximity of Memorial Day and the beginning of beach season) but was a little annoying sometimes (especially with a toddler). Overall we very much enjoyed ourselves and would recommend!

Wonderful

This was our first time renting a vacation property and it was wonderful. The management company was very responsive start to finish. The place was clean and ready for us to enjoy our vacation. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes etc. The appliances all worked, and the dual zone HVAC kept the property comfortable. The bedrooms were large. We were able to set-up the dog crates in our room with space to spare. Plenty of entertainment options when not at the beach were provided from board games, TV, pool table, internet, crystal clear pool (very cold this time of year) and hot tub.

Great relaxing week in Corolla

We had a lovely time staying at this property in Corolla last week. I noticed a previous renter mentioned that several things were broken -- it appears that they have all been fixed -- we didn't have any issues (although we didn't use the hot tub so I can't speak to that). The house is a bit older and the landscaping is overgrown, but everything was just as pictured. It was all very comfortable and we loved the location -- it is on the same street as the beach and just a couple minute walk. I'm not sure if this is pandemic thing, but the sheets/towels are all from a service and they are very basic so if you want nicer ones I would recommend bringing them from home. Also, there are not potholders so definitely bring those!

Don’t believe

Don’t believe what you see online with this house. I booked it because it was older and had character. However, day one I had to call in an entire punch list of damages, I had to clean the house because though we love dogs the entire house was covered with dog hair (not my dogs hair because I left them at home), and the landscaping hasn’t been done in who knows how long. The potential for this property is great. The execution is horrible. So this is what we found 2 toilets running, wrong size linens, not enough towels, dog hair everywhere and I do mean everywhere, window screens ripped, broken drawer, noisy refrigerator, knives that won’t cut, broke table with screws sticking up, dust everywhere, no dust pan, broken chair in game room, outdated stereo and TVs, the fence-fell down, and hot tub didn’t work properly. So disappointed. Please give this beautiful house some love and attention.
