Welcome To "Pearl".
Pearl, a Charleston styled retreat, was named Pearl because she's like a beautiful Southern Pearl. Pearl is located in the highly sought after Buck Island Community and just a quick 4-5-minute walk to Corolla Beach. Buck Island is a gorgeous, gated community that offers: a pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball court, playground, and a beach cabana with restrooms, beach amenities for rent, and snacks.
Walk across the street to Tim Buck II where you can explore delicious restaurants and local shops. While you're there, let the kids head over to go-kart, mini golf, or take the family parasailing. If you prefer golfing, the Currituck Club is just down the street. Lastly, if you are seeking other world renown attractions, you are minutes away from: The Currituck Lighthouse, The Whalehead Club, or a Wild Horse Tour on Carova Beach in a 4x4. Deepsea fishing is not far either. Book a day trip out of Oregon Inlet (where the show Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks is filmed).
Also, located near Food Lion and Harris Teeter grocery stores.

The ground floor offers an extra refrigerator, an outside shower, an enclosed patio area with a dining table that seats 8, a sofa seating area and 2 lounge chairs. A gas grill, 3 bikes, 8 beach chairs, umbrellas, and 3 boogie boards make vacationing easy.
Once you step inside, you'll fall in love with the Coastal Charleston charm of this home. This five-bedroom home has 3.5 baths and is in a prime location and offers everything you need for an ultimate beach vacation!
The bottom features: A two-car garage with foosball and ping pong tables for hours of fun! A large bedroom with a queen and twin bed. And a separate bathroom with a tub/shower.
Second floor features: 1 king suite with private bath / 1 queen bedroom / 1 large king bedroom with an extra fold up twin bed / A large full bath in the hallway / A full laundry area / 2 linen closets.
The top level of this stunning Corolla home is your main living space. You'll be spending plenty of time in the great room living area with all the perks. A large sectional sofa and 75-inch TV are all you and your family or friends need for a good time together. There's also another bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Deck access with a large table that seats 6 and a smaller table that seats 2. The beautiful new kitchen has granite countertops, brand-new stainless-steel appliances and an additional bar area and is sure to please the chef/bartender in you. Well-equipped with everything you will need to make a wonderful meal for all. Gather around the dining room table and enjoy a meal with the crew. The dining area seats a lot of guests: 10-12 at the table and 5 at the island. Or you can choose to dine outside and enjoy the panoramic views off of the deck.

All 5 bedrooms have flat screen smart TV's.
Livingroom has a 75-inch smart TV.

We provide sheet and towel service including: all sheets, bath towels, wash cloths, beach towels and kitchen towels— (beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in each bathroom).

Guests with young children are well accommodated. Pearl has: 2 cribs, 1 highchair, 2 booster seats, and 1 pack & play, 1 infant tub, and 1 umbrella stroller. In addition, you will find books, puzzles and games for all ages.

Parking notes: Plenty of parking is available. 3 cars in the driveway.
There are also 4 additional lots in Buck Island that guests are welcome to use.

It is our policy to rent to family groups or couples over 25 only. Tenants must be at least 25 years of age to enter in our Vacation Rental Agreement, which must be submitted with an ID. Rentals are (6-day minimums in June, July and August. Check-in days for summer months are Sunday or Monday and check out days are Saturday or Sunday.)
(September through May are only 4 day minimums with check in and check out days any day.)

All the reviews are true! The hosts are amazing and very helpful and kind. The location could not be better as it is right by the beach, the grocery store, the shopping centers and restaurants. Great neighborhood and location. This property is quite close to pool and ocean. Also, shopping walkable with ease. The home itself is well-equipped, especially if traveling and unable to bring a lot with you. This house had everything we needed for our beach vacation! The beach is just a few blocks away within the gated community. The house has all your beach needs including umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, toys and a wagon to pull them in. We loved riding bikes (provided at the house) within the community. The streets are wide with minimal traffic so it was super safe for our young kids. There are plenty of shops and restaurants across the street, we barely used our car for a week. We did have a few hiccups while we were there but Jill was super responsive throughout the stay. We had an awesome time here and can't wait to come back!

Great Beach Vacation

Highlights of this house include the wonderful location and the thoughtfulness with which the house was stocked. EVERYTHING you could possibly want: games, beach supplies, cooking supplies, storage containers for leftovers, equipment for babies. We traveled with 4 families including 2 little ones and just loved the quick 2 minute walk to the pool and playground as well as a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. I 100% recommend this house.

You can’t go wrong with this rental

Beautiful home, amazing owners who are very accessible, great location to beach, food, fun. The only thing to be aware of is the home has three levels with relatively steep stairs, so if that’s an issue it would be good to consider this. We’ve been to this home before and will be back. We usually don’t give reviews unless we feel the item or service is either really good or really bad - we feel this is when we can be of most help to others, so this review carries alot of weight!

First the house was well furnished . From kitchen appliances,silverware,cups and plates to the fine furniture. Games for children and adults. There is not much you have to bring***Includes many beach chairs,umbrellas and bikes for the family. The house supports two cribs ,highchair and linens. Jill and HP were always available if we had questions. The best stay we've had and we've been coming to the Outer Banks for over 20 years. We've already made reservations for next year.

Lovely stay at The Pearl

Buck Island is such a convenient and safe neighborhood. Loved having bikes for us to get around the neighborhood. The house is such a gem and the owners have done a terrific job sticking the home with many things I would normally bring from home. The kitchen is a extremely well-stocked. Ample room and bathroom sizes. Short walk or drive to beach. Easy walk to shops and groceries.

This house was simply amazing! The owners were so prompt in responding and keep their home neat and clean and organized! We were so thankful for all the personal touches…sand toys and treats left for my grandchildren, everything labeled from the kitchen ware and all the light switches! Family fun time

We are from Northern Virginia and my family came from TN to meet us at this beautiful property. The location was perfect and we didn’t have to leave the house. Great Beach House

Our family stayed at Pearl for a week in August 2024. We loved it! We were three generations - 7 adults, two young children and a baby. The layout of the house worked perfectly; we utilized all the interior and outdoor spaces. The house had everything we needed for a beach vacation, including a wagon, beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. The walk to the beach was easy, even for a 2-year old. And the community pool was a great hit. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Kind and Communicative Owners

We stayed here August of 2024. The owners handle the property themselves and it's very clear that they care quite a bit about it and about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. They cleaned the property themselves before our stay and let us know ahead of time it would be fine for us to drop our stuff in the garage and change and go to the beach if we wanted. We took advantage of that. Even though it rained the whole week because of tropical storm Debby we still had a great time.

Perfect multi-family beach house

3 family vacay ages 14-50. We had a great time! The weather wasn’t great with double red flags on the beach 4 of the 5 days we were there. We still used it and having the equipment (chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrellas, towels) available at the house was a huge bonus!! The kids rode bikes and visited basketball and pickle ball courts multiple times a day. They also made use of the game cabinet every night. We cooked several meals and had plenty of pots/pans/dishes for all of us. The house was SUPER clean and well stocked with everything you can think of!!Downside of the trip was the pool was out of service when we were there, luckily it was cooler weather (70s-low 80s) but with the double reds on the beach a pool would’ve been nice to relax at. The owners worked with us to find a solution to the lack of a pool and got us waterpark tickets for a day. Location was great for walking to beach, pool/courts, shops, grocery, restaurants. Also great for runners. So many directions to go in and paths to take. Safety was never a concern.We would recommend 10/10 to stay here! Communication with the owner was easy. Jill answered questions right away leading up to the trip and during the trip!
