"Encontrando Sandity"
Esta casa de 5 dormitorios ubicada en un lote semi frente al mar tiene mejores vistas "sin obstáculos" que la mayoría de las casas frente al mar en el área 4WD. Los nuevos propietarios lo han incluido recientemente en nuestro programa de alquiler durante las últimas semanas restantes de la temporada 2019. El tercer nivel tiene un amplio plano de planta abierto con cocina, comedor, sala de estar y vigilancia de barcos. El dormitorio principal fuera de la sala de estar tiene acceso a la cubierta frontal con magníficas vistas al mar y vistas panorámicas a la playa. En la parte trasera de la sala de estar encontrarás una habitación adicional con una mesa de futbolín y una litera para los más pequeños.
El segundo nivel tiene 3 dormitorios completos y un cuarto convertido en una sala de juegos con mesa de billar y sofá cama. Este nivel también tiene mucho espacio en la cubierta con la comodidad de una bañera de hidromasaje.
En la planta baja encontrará puertas de entrada delanteras y traseras, mesa de banco para limpieza de peces, ducha exterior y cómoda, y una parrilla estilo parque. El patio delantero tiene una duna salpicada de avena marina que se suma al encanto de esta casa bien ubicada.

Family Vacation 2024

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house! Being right on the beach was great and very secluded which made for a peaceful stay. We saw wild horses everyday and some came right up to the fence around the pool. The house was very clean and felt like our home away from home! Will plan on visiting again very soon :)

Family Vacation

My family and I stayed for a week to end our summer before the kids go back to school. The property was well maintained, had everything we needed and communication with the host was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described. The pool was such a great feature because one day the beach was just too hot to be comfortable and have the kids play. There were plenty of games and movies to also keep the kids entertained. We had an overall amazing experience at this property.

Wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful week at Finding Sandity. The house was exactly as advertised. The wild horses roamed freely and we seen them throughout the week. One day they literally came right up to the pool fence grazing. We also got to see sea turtle eggs being buried (the sea turtle volunteers moved the original nest due to the likelihood of survival, and a 5ft shark caught right in front of our house. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to be back soon in the future.

A great family destination

Wonderful beach home,so much to enjoy

The house was beautiful. We did have trouble locating it as the mile marker for our turn over the dunes was absent. There were horses to enjoy watching every day but one, the upper deck was stellar for spending time sitting out, taking in the views, the walk to the beach over the dunes required energetic walking which was fun. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience.

Wild Paradise

Beautiful wild area. 4 x 4 beaches were a thrill! Loved the wild horses! House was very comfortable and a plus to have our own private pool and hot tub! Pure relaxation with beauty all around! So nice to be off a crowded beach!

A perfect place!

We loved this house! Everything was clean and perfectly as described! We came in at the tail-end of a stormy 2 weeks, so the roads leading into the house were a little surprising. Once we got over the initial scare of driving over the steep sandy hills, we actually had fun with it! The only recommendation we had for the house would be to add an additional small fridge somewhere for drinks. We just ended up using a cooler since the fridge was packed with food. Other than that, it was fabulous!

Family Celebrations

Rented the week in October to celebrate our ten year anniversary with our family. It was a nice location, not too far down the beach, but down enough to see horses every day off the beautiful deck! We even got to see a full moon that week over the coast and enjoyed many beautiful sunrises together. Thank you for the much needed break! We had a great time!

Most relaxing vacation ever!

This was one of the best and most relaxing vacations that I have ever been on. It was so beautiful. We loved seeing the horses! It was such a unique experience. Laura did such a great job communicating with us and providing the info that we needed. Highly recommend!

Amazing Views and House

We had 2 other families with ours and this house has the perfect layout. The house was super clean when we arrived. The owners have been doing upgrades as the 360 tour showed the old deck. The top deck when we stayed was just replaced with composite deck boards so I imagnine the second level deck will be replaced soon. The views are nothing short of amazing and we saw the wild horses every day we were there. They were right on the dunes right next to the pool one late afternoon. We loved this place so much we plan to stay again next year. If you bring all the groceries you need for the week, you truly have no need to even leave at all.

Loved the Location

Finding Sandity was a great vacation location for our family. Close to the beach, beautiful view, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. Driving 3 miles on the beach was a cool experience and caused us to enjoy the home and beach more. We look forward to vacationing in the Outer Banks again soon.

Awesome house with obstructed window views

This house is amazing, and we saw horses almost daily! The location is great and offers all the amenities of home. I rented the house for the views, but the windows are so dirty ( especially to the north) we couldn’t enjoy the views to their fullest potential!

Good vacation

Great location for beach, and great views from the house. Saw the wild horses almost every day. Inside pictures very accurate. House was clean and in good shape. Pool was a great addition. Only negative was there were a good amount of bugs(midges) and spiders on the outside and exterior of house could use some attention. Overall though very happy with the rental and would recommend to others.

Relaxing Family Beach Vacation

Our group included five adults and four kids and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk beds. It was nice that the main bedrooms each had their own bathrooms. The couch and dining room table were both large and provided plenty of space for everyone. The main living space was gorgeous with amazing views. I watched the sun rise from the deck every morning, though you could see it from three of the bedrooms also! We saw wild horses several times from the deck and while on the beach. The pool and hot tub were great additions to this property and we used them a lot during our stay. The pool has a nice sized area for lounging. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes and appliances and there were some games and puzzles as well. This was our first time driving on sand so that took a little getting used to but we didn’t have any issues. You have to be careful with little kids on the beach because of the traffic crossing the beach. During the day, this wasn’t too big of an issue because it all travels behind the area where people sit. After 5:00 p.m., though, there are two lanes and one is right along the water so we found it challenging to have smaller kids out there playing on the beach after that time. We did still take walks along the water with the kids in the evening and didn’t have an issue with the traffic while just walking along the water. My favorite parts of this property were the beautiful views and huge multi-level decks. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the deck watching the water. It was really a beautiful and clean beach and the house had amazing views. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect relaxing location

This was our second trip to the 4x4 area of Coralla where the beaches are beautiful and horse sightings occur daily. We greatly enjoyed the property and how large and comfortable it was. The new pool was very relaxing and the beach parking passes that were included came in handy. Laura was very easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property!

A little slice of Heaven

This house was a dream to stay in! It is basically beach front without having all of the cars drive right in your front yard. We enjoyed driving on the beach, but if the house were any further north, I think it would have gotten old, quick! The house was very clean and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and for my son to log into virtual school a few days we were there without being bothered by us. Laura was so kind and helpful during our stay. We highly recommend this vacation home!

Great location with lots of space - Kids loved it

We loved the 4x4 beach and the faraway feel of this house. While it isn't too far off the beaten path, it does feel much more isolated than Duck or other popular OBX beaches. We had plenty of space for four adults and five kids and they were stocked with fun things for the kids to do which was a nice surprise. The pool area feels very new (I believe it is) and the hot tub was also a nice added bonus. Liked there were decks facing the beach and the intercoastal. Beach access was SUPER easy and we saw horses a few times around the property. There are still a few updates that are needed, but new floors and carpeting look good. My only real complaint is the place didn't feel super clean when we arrived. The floors were dirty and there were dead bugs on the blinds and in random places. Would have also been nice to have a few kitchen staples like cooking oil and spices, but I totally get that COVID likely makes it difficult for those type of things to feel safe. There were plenty of other staples around the house which were another added bonus. We loved it!
