Lovely Cabin Retreat

We loved the high ceilings, beds were comfy, hot tub was nice, fire pit was awesome, loved hearing the river, great welcoming cookies, sparkling cider and wine. Had everything we needed and the owner takes really great care of the property. Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful cabin!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were relaxed and able to enjoy spending time together. Having stayed during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the owner arranged for a tall Christmas tree, lights, and other decorations. As we walked in, the gas fireplace was lit and holiday music was playing. It was an amazing home and gracious host.

Wonderful Stay

The cabin is comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 5. The location was great for accessing Mt. Baker and the North Cascades areas. Cheryl was very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We were all impressed with the little extras like cookies, extra coffee, and general items one might forget. Would definitely stay again!

Our first time in the North Cascades

We truly enjoyed our stay in the lLovely A Frame. The home suited all our needs and was a reasonable distance to the North Cascades and Mt Baker. Hopefully some day we will be able to visit again and would definitely stay in this beautiful home.

Amazing extra touches!

The home was filled with extra touches that made the property stand out from others. Everything was well marked. Beds were comfortable and loved the extra thick towels. The house was well stocked. The homemade cookies were much appreciated!

Great rental on East side of N Cascades

Cheryl is a phenomenal host and this rental exceeded our expectations during our trip to North Cascades NP! The home was somehow even more spacious than it looked in pictures and it was amazing to have views of snowcapped mountains over the treeline. We appreciated how thoughtfully the home was cleaned in preparation for our stay - little things like an abundance of towels, blankets, area guides & food recos, and even HOMEMADE COOKIES & wine, were icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay here again and strongly recommend this property for anyone looking for comfortable accommodations while exploring the Park.

Mt Baker/North Cascades

This was everything we needed! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, (and sparkling juice for the kids), homemade cookies and fresh cut flowers! All instructions for care of the property (hot tub) and clean-up requests were clearly posted. Well stocked with kitchen amenities, and a few condiments in the fridge and pantry, if you left anything behind!

We want to go back

We found this location to be perfect because we could easily get to the NP and also Baker Lake and surrounding areas. So much to see and do in nature. The host helped me create a plan for outings and provided a binder with maps and suggestions as well. The house and property were great. Very comfortable and clean and well stocked. I really did not need to bring anything other than our groceries, and even then, there were several grocery items already there such as s'mores, homemade cookies, coffee, hot chocolate, and more. The only thing I would suggest is putting a tall fence between this house and the house next door. The next door neighbors seem harmless but it was not private on the side of the house or backyard and that would have been nice to have. That is not a deal breaker and I would most certainly stay at this property again and recommend it to others.

Clean, cozy and relaxing stay

Wonderful place to relax and spend time with family after a nice trip to North Cascades. A very clean and well equipped kitchen. Quite a few board game options and movies (DVD) to pass time. Overall its a wonderful place to stay with family and friends. Also, Cheryl is a wonderful host and very responsive.

Beautiful Cabin

Our group of 6 stayed in the cabin while hiking in the area. The cabin was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. It is one of the most well appointed rentals we've used with plenty of dishware, cookware, towels, and amenities, including coffee, wine, and homemade cookies (which were great after our hikes). The owner was quick to answer questions, check in and check out were a breeze, and the directions were easy to follow. The location was great for hikes in the North Cascades National Park and surrounding area. Everyone in our group was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Hiking trip

Great stay at this cabin. Check in was easy. We hiked for a week throughout the Mt. Baker forest and North cascades. Cabin was very comfortable. Enjoyed our trip.
