Peaceful

The house was spacious and lots to do. We were unable to drive up the snow and ice covered lane. It was difficult carrying everything up and down the lane. The hot tub kept blowing a breaker so we were unable to use it.

Friends weekend getaway

4 couples had a weekend getaway here! It was so much fun and simply beautiful. The size and layout of the house made things so nice. The downstairs held so many games and puzzles that kept us al busy! We had a wonderful time. The only thing we wish we had was king size beds in each room. We drew names for the rooms since only one had a king size bed. We highly recommend this place and looking forward to next time!

Over-priced, respond is not good. I would not recommend.

Very expensive!!! it is very overpriced with all the fees and there is no firewood around this fall chilly season. the property manager said to bring your own. It is surrounded by woods, so if you like to get away somewhere isolated, it is a good place. The table chair broke down when my wife was sitting, turns out, the leg was glued down. it was waiting to happen. it could lead to a serious injury. my wife is still sore from the fall. told the property manager about it with pictures, but heard nothing from him. if you are going to spend this much money, I would look for another cabin.

Fall getaway

Beautiful wood cabin to bring your family/friends. Lots of space and a fully stocked kitchen. Great little coffee/tea area in the kitchen. Excellent location to both Brown Co State Park and Nashville. Wifi worked well. Very clean and management is very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place, wonderful time!

We visited a few weeks shy of the leaves really turning and can only imagine how beautiful it would be then. The house was very comfortable and clean. The property is beautiful. The outdoor firepit is great. At most, we had 9 people (all 60 and older) one night and we were all quite comfortable.

Annual friends trip

Beautiful location. Very private. Lots of room to spread out. Spent one day in Nashville browsing in the quaint shops. Went to lake Monroe the other day. We had a great stay and would definitely stay at Livin the Dream again. We never had to communicate with the property manager so hard to rate.

Graduation home base

While the house is 45 minutes from Bloomington, it is an easy and beautiful drive. A great home base for the family for Graduation weekend. The house is exceptionally comfortable. Plenty of space. Comfy beds. Stocked Coffee/tea bar (keurig + auto drip machine). The only regrets are that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the property or charming Nashville, filled with shops, cafes and restaurants.

Off the beaten path

This is a VERY high quality multifamily cabin about 15 minutes from Brown County State Park. Comfortable rooms with all the amenities we could hope for. Plenty of entertainment options on premises, both for adults looking to get some sunshine and kiddos looking to play pool or bury their nose in a screen. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the hardware required to cook anything you wanted. A beautiful location for a weekend getaway. I guarantee we will be looking to return. Three minor points to note about the property: 1. Cell service - good luck. I have an AT&T personal cell and a Verizon work cell, neither could get reliable service at the cabin. Great for avoiding the office, not so good for being accessable in an emergency. 2. Driveway - very narrow and very steep. You don't need a four wheel drive vehicle, but anything with a low profile could have issues going up the driveway. 3. Local grocery - well stocked, but pricey. My family planned to purchase groceries when we arrived and prepare meals in the cabin. With only one grocery nearby (the next closest are either in Bloomington or Columbus) there doesn't appear to be any incentives to have low prices. Do yourself a favor and bring any food you want with you. None of the issues were the fault of the property, but they would have been nice to know in advance. Overall an excellent experience.

Very comfortable retreat!

We had 4 couples staying for the weekend . We were very comfortable during our stay . Unfortunately cold enough we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors . We would definitely rent again .

Living the Dream Cabin

We only had 6 people in our group so we did not use the 4th bedroom. 8 or more people would have been very comfortable in the house. The downstairs recreation room was great. We had intended to start a fire in the fire pit but we decided to do other things instead. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and utensils so that we were able to cook complete meals several of the nights. The only reason that I gave it a 4 star rating on cleanliness was that the oven was not cleaned and I didn't want the owner to think that our group was responsible. I gave it a 4 star on location because it may have been near Nashville as the crow flies but it was up in the hills away from Nashville several miles. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and family who wanted to have a place for a family reunion.

Livin' the Dream

Loved the property. It was a little far out from downtown, but not so much that it was a real problem. I couldn't receive texts unless I went outside, so maybe the WiFi wasn't working. We loved the deck that wrapped around the house and the game room in the basement. It was a family reunion and everyone had a good time.
