Pros: - Clean rooms - AC works great - Friendly staff (except for front desk) - Plenty of parking - Great hot breakfast & staff - Easy access from the highway and was centrally located for my needs Cons: - When I arrived to check-in at 3:15pm, after driving for hours, there was no one working at the front desk. It took at least 5 minutes or more for someone to show up. The front desk worker offered no apologies and seemed like my presence at the front desk was an imposition on him. The front desk, among other things, is responsible for the hotel's first impression. Needless to say anymore, my first impression of the hotel was far less than positive. I think I'll try a different hotel next time I'm in town. - The bathroom sink's faucet had one of the weakest water streams I've ever encountered. It was so week, I used the tubs faucet to wash my hands. - The closet seemed to be in the middle of some sort of maintenance. There was a hole in the drywall that appeared to be hastily patched up. - The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working and was uncovered. - Check out was uneventful but all of the front desk staff seem to be totally lacking in people skills and seem like they wish they were anywhere other than working the front desk.

So I found this property on Hotels.com. It started okay and normally I shoot for hotels with 9 stars and up but there were hardly any hotels with a reasonable rate for one night, we just needed to sleep comfortably after my daughters games in a tournament. 1st issue was they have “A” washer and dryer but no detergent or quarters available to use it so you have to go to the store. But nevertheless we went and got what we needed. 2nd issue was after we get done washing her uniforms we lay down for bed because we needed to get up at 8:00am and it is 12:00 am, when we start hearing running, jumping, and thumping above us. I call downstairs on my cell because the room phone did not work and inform the lady at the front desk and she says she will take care of it. Well it continued and I called back and still nothing was done because I finally just cut the tv on to drown the noise as much as possible. It began again at 5:30 am the next morning. 3rd issue was the room was extra hot. The air came on maybe 2 times during the night and it was on 68. 4th issue was since we were up we decided to check out early, in leaving the room roaches began to appear. So when I got to the desk I asked to be accommodated for the said issues and was told to call on Monday. I asked for my receipt and was told I could not get one since I booked with a 3rd party but I always book through Hotels.com and they always give me a receipt. I did get the receipt, FINALLY! So 0 out of 10, do NOT recommend!

The room was hot and muggy when we walked in. The AC was turned on to full blast but the room never cooled down. The room smelled really musty and the beds were hard as rocks. I’ve stayed at other Quality Inns before and they were way better than this location.

The bathroom was so bad we did not even shower the following morning and just got dressed and left. Prepaid reservation for Texas A&M graduation when things werre fully booked 3 months ago at $425 per night. Checked the reservation the night before and the same room was $199. Called to inquire about a possible credit or refund and the desk person laughed and said that was my tough luck.

This place is terrible and Expedia is even worse for dealing with them and stealing money from people. Expedia's payment process denied and the front desk would not provide us a room. I had a receipt that the room was paid for & I even showed where the money was taken from my bank account. Nonetheless, the hotel stated their payment was denied from Expedia and would not give us the room we reserved. Turns out after stealing my money and not providing us a room for something that we were not at fault at all, they are not going to refund. This place is wrong for this and Expedia (Hotels.com) is worse for allowing this to happen and not refunding us for this terrible situation.

Room look like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. The pullout couch mattress was stained and so were the couch cushions. The sheets were pilling and itchy. We tried to go down to the front desk to get an extra blanket and nobody was there. The hallways and lobby were dirty as well with paint peeling on the wall. We checked out after one night with a planned 3 night stay. The room was a nice size.

Poorly lit hallways. It was evident that many of the lights were not working in the hallway. Several doors to the rooms looked damaged. Our door was jammed and only opened by a hard push. Towels were clean but were very thin. Very little snacks in snack machine. Loud traffic noise. Breakfast and coffee were good. Friendly breakfast staff. Very convenient to restaurants and ballparks. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bare bones place.

It wasn’t too bad for the price. Our fridge was broken and it smelled terrible like an electrical fire. So we asked if we could put it outside our door because it smelled up our room. It stayed outside our door for the entire three days we were there. Good thing we brought a cooler or else our food we brought would have went bad. The hair dryer was melted and not usable. We had to make our own beds. The WiFi was hard to connect to as well it would connect and then randomly drop out of now where. The fold out couch beds were pretty bad. They were thin and the springs were poking you. We fixed that though with extra blankets lol. With that said though it was cleanish and thank god there was no bugs. It was quiet and the shower was nice. We had a great working AC. Like I said though for the price we got it at and how long we stayed it wasn’t too bad at all. Just giving more of a heads up. I’ve definitely stayed at worse.
