Coles Bay Shack
Upon check in, we were overcome by a very strong rotten shellfish type of smell throughout the entire home. We immediately opened all windows but didn’t have much luck in airing it out. The place had been cleaned but not thoroughly. There were several dead flies on the windowsills. The furniture was also quite dated and of cheap quality. We attempted contact with the host through the VRBO app requesting either a cancellation/refund or to move but never heard back and were completely ghosted. We finally were able to reach someone the next day after much effort. They moved us to another home that was much nicer.

Clean and tidy property.
Quite spacious inside although the shower cubicle is a little small.
Living area was quite warm when we entered the property.

Property was good would have liked to have known about the stairs beforehand. Made it difficult to get luggage etc up to house. Would not be suitable for elderly or disabled.
