The property is not as well kept as in the pictures. There should be a handrail for the front steps. The back deck had ants, the cushions were nasty, & so was the freezer. I notified the owner promptly. My husband was ill so we sat on the sofa all night. Considering the condition of the property & the fact I rented it for 3 nights but stayed 1, a partial refund would have been appropriate but no, they did make it clear no refunds. I suppose when the homeowner suggests that you take the travel insurance offered at the time of booking, I should have known there would be a problem. It’s okay, I just hope they use the money to get the property cleaned before renting to the next person.
