Our stay was wonderful- got to get out on the lake renting a boat at LaPrades! The host was amazing- excellent communication.Only negatives were needs more seating in great room for large group! Kitchen well stocked.Shower in queen room was very weak and not hot.Despite these few things we had a wonderful stay- would definitely rent again?

The house was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating to many people. The lake view was incredible and relaxing. I was there for my daughters wedding and had family to stay. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with anything you needed. We would definitely stay again if ever in that area!

A nice property with large bedrooms and updated baths. Generous amenities are provided in the kitchen area for eating in. Dining and living areas are a little tight to accommodate 15 people.

Our favorite place!

This has to be THE best house to rent (at Burton or anywhere)! The house is newly renovated and was done beautifully!! It is very comfortable, clean and perfect for families. And the owners are very responsive and incredibly kind. Couldn’t be happier with this rental.

Post Christmas Refresh

Our group was 14 in number (6 adults, 8 teens) and this house was the perfect fit. Very nice as pictures indicate. Was a great place to hang out together. About 25 min drive to Helen and Clayton. Plenty of dishes and well stocked kitchen. Thinkgs like K cups and sugar packets were there. Nice firepit out by the lake. We had some wood there and we picked up more at a local store. Minimal cell signal available, but Wifi was great and we were all pleasantly surprised. Owner contact was great as well. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Weekend!

We stayed here for a weekend with several families and this home was just perfect! It is absolutely beautiful but for families with kids, it’s extremely functional. The bunk room slept all our children, large dining table sat our party and then the yard was flat for running around. The ease of access to fish was a hit with the kids and the adults enjoyed the kayak and paddle board. We are already planning our next stay. The host was extremely responsive. They left us a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. The home is extremely well stocked and comfortable beds. Did I mention how amazing that living room couch is?? Sank right into it with my book and wine! What more can you ask for?

Perfect Stay!

Everything was top knot, the kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed to cook & plenty of everything. We appreciated the double dishwashers. The beds were really comfortable including the bunk beds, those were really comfy. We really did have everything we needed to enjoy the home as our own. Visit from the Honeysuckle Hood

Neighborhood friends who live on Lake Sinclair Ga decided to visit another lake in Ga. Absolutely fabulous time. House was incredible and very well furnished for our needs. Surrounding mountains were breathtaking. Town of Clayton was a very quaint experience. Highly recommend and will come back at some point. VRBO was excellent with all communication

Perfect Family Getaway

I traveled to this beautiful home this past week after we had to cancel our travel plans to Florida due to Hurricane Ian. It was so spacious with 5 bedrooms that everyone had their own space and the game room, kitchen, and common area were great gathering spaces. We most enjoyed the deck on the lake to sit and soak in some sun with a drink, the firepit at night, and most especially the paddle board and canoe!! We hope to return to this amazing home in the future!!!

Christmas getaway

This was a beautiful, well kept property and perfect for our family plus 4 other families. This was our first Christmas away and first trip since the start of covid. The children enjoyed everything this home had to offer, as did the adults. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house was so clean and there wasn’t anything that they skimped on including the toiletries, linens, towels etc. Will definitely visit again and never settle for any other rental.

We had a mommy-daughter weekend by the lake. The property is absolutely amazing; beautiful, modern, CLEAN and well stocked! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The children loved the bunk bed room. Our contact was extremely responsive and helpful in every way. We had a wonderful time.
