Best kept secret!

This charming lake house is so special. It very comfortably fit our group of 4 adults and 5 kiddos (age 2-8 yrs old). We spent nearly all our time enjoying the yard lakeside, the awesome sandy beachfront, and the lake itself w/ a rental boat. The Marina is steps away and you can rent boats daily at an affordable rate.. go see Gina:). Being dog-friendly was great for our sweet golden retriever. Though do know the homes are quite close together, most w/ pups as well. Getting to know the lovely neighbors was a plus and helped calm any angst w/ yet another pup hanging around. Bob and Jeff were excellent hosts. I hope this home is filled w/ happy times and memories for years to come! Thank you for welcoming our family this summer:)Laura P.

Weekend On Clarklake

The house was amazing! Very clean with high end fit and finishes. A beautiful location on the lake with a clean sandy bottom around the dock area thats great for water games or just taking a dip. The neighbors were all very friendly and outgoing and made the stay just that much more enjoyable. Before we even left we were talking about coming back next year! 100% recommend this booking!

Great views

We were in the area for a conference at spring arbor college and looking for a place to stay that was pet friendly (unfortunately my doggie passed away about a month prior) but the stay was pleasant. Personally I like a little more privacy from the neighbors but the house is hard to beat. It was bright and spacious. The view of the sunrise over the lake was fantastic. The guys were Johnny -on-the-spot when we needed anything. Overall it was a great place to stay.

We were here for our granddaughter's wedding. Beautiful view. Exceptionally clean. Friendly host and so accommodating. We needed to stay an extra day and there was no issue at all.

Our Christmas Trip

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Lake House and the owners are especially helpful and provided everything we needed. The house had everything for us to cook a family Christmas Dinner. The lake was awesome even though all we did was look at the view. The house had room for all of us (5 adults and a dog) and on Christmas Day, we had my Son, daughter-in-law and 2 Grandbabies also, and we were all warm and toasty in the Lake House. The house is also cool in that it is a FAMILY home, owned by the 4 brothers, and originally purchased by their parents over 50 years ago.Again, anything we needed was already provided in the home. The location was perfect, as Clark Lake is a beautiful lake, and the first night we were able to eat at the Eagle's Nest, a short walk from the house. It was closed for the remainder of our Christmas trip, but we were within 10 minutes of anything we needed. So in conclusion, the house is beautiful, and the owners are good people. You can't ask for much more in a rental. We were well pleased, and, as it is within 30 miles of my son's house, we may return. Our thanks for a wonderful time.

Perfect for the whole family

We gathered from four different cities into this lovely lakeside home. We were astounded by the thoughtful kitchen supplies available for us and the ease of the whole process. We even left something behind and the owners graciously helped us retrieve it.
