The lady who checked me in wasn’t overly helpful on what was open or available on the long weekend. The room was loud and other people’s doors would be heard regularly. The bed and pillows were not great. I did find the location ok, but I had expected more overall for the price and ratings.

The room was clean but it would be nice to have the room serviced more often automatically - 3 days is a bit long to wait. It was also pretty noisy at night with people coming in and out and speaking pretty loudly at all hours which is surprising considering the hotel is pretty strict with rules in general. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable.

The room (including bathroom/kitchenette) and bed are tidy. The bed was comfortable with no major spring sagging issue and the sheets were very clean. Easy walking distance to shops and Hagley Park. I did not try out the dining options as I dined out, but the cafe at the lobby appeared fully stocked. I would use the accommodations at Wyndam Garden again.
