We had a great time at this place. It’s a fantastic location—right in the charming town of Chipping Campden and just minutes from the start of the Cotswolds Way. We needed 3 bedrooms, which is tough to find, and this place does have 3 separate bedrooms. It was perfectly clean and the hosts were terrific at communicating and welcoming us. The kitchen is great—well appointed with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and a Nespresso with pods and a proper tea pot with tea bags. We really liked hanging out in the sunroom at the back and relaxing in the front sitting room.A few caveats for people who might be picky: the stairs to the bedrooms are narrow and steep (typical for an old English village , I’d say) but they have strong railings and we (including my 91 year old mother) navigated them fine—but something to consider if anyone in your party has issues with stairs. The bathrooms are small and doors can be creaky—again, expected for an old house and didn’t bother us at all—but they are modern with heated towel racks, an excellent shower, strong toilets. And last, the house abuts an Inn/Restaurant so you can get voices until 10 or 11 pm. I am typically sensitive to noise but I did not find this a problem and had no trouble sleeping.Given its unparalleled location, really excellent hosts, cleanliness, conveniences, 3 bedrooms, it’s definitely great value for money. I would definitely recommend it.
