Beautiful stay at Grosvenor Pulford

Hotel is beautiful and the superior room was stunning, the decor, the bathroom is luxurious and the hotel made us a little Congratulations chocolate platter and card for our recent wedding which was a lovely touch. There was only one problem which was the heated towel rail in bathroom was so hot I burnt my arm, I did inform reception as needs to be attended. The spa is so lovely too, I had an Indian head massage which was very relaxing. All staff were lovely although I would say I would choose the Palm restaurant next time as Nelson’s was not as friendly and waited long time for food. Breakfast in the Palm was lovely.

Excellent stay but when we went to use the pool it was full of kids. For people using the spa looking to relax it’s not the right place unless they have set times which we didn’t know about

Seen lots of good reviews of this Spa hotel and decided to stay one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The reason my rating was so low was because upon arrival, no one at the reception told us we were going to stay a room below someone getting married also a noisy large family partying until midnight. My husband went to see someone at the reception twice and eventually they kind of quiet down but it was horrible experience to us. Quite simple to hotel management team to not put wedding guests and regular guests together, not fair. Such shame, because the rest of the hotel was so nice, lovely garden, swimming pool, sauna room etc. but we are not going to return.
