Nice Home, but needs more attention to cleaning
The code to unlock the door didn't work, so we had to reach out and get a new code. That took about 30 mins, because you can't talk to anyone, you're only able to communicate via chat. A full recycle bin was left for us to take out. There were chips and food crumbs on various end tables and nightstands throughout the unit. Strands of hair on the bathroom counter and nightstand, along with a fake lash left behind. There was a sock tucked in between the mattress and headboard. And it was VERY obvious that they didn't vacuum. A mop wasn't necessary, but a quick vacuum would have been nice. There were large balls of dust, dried up food and crumbs on the floor throughout. The unit itself is lovely and perfect for a family, but they need to do better with cleaning, especially with us paying a cleaning fee. We also ran out of propane halfway through grilling dinner. The propane meter wasn't connected so it showed that it was full, when it was not. There were a couple of damp towels in the stack of folded ones. There was a wet comforter or mattress cover that was left in the bottom of the bedroom closet, we discovered it as we pulled out extra linens and blankets to use. Despite all that, we did run the dishwasher, a load of towels and stripped the beds before we checked out as requested by Vacasa.
