Don't Go Anywhere Else
If you're considering staying somewhere else, don't! This is THE place to be! The home is conveniently located close to many key areas, a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City (why pay more) and the beach! Inside is spacious (you could sleep so many here!), neat and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. If you're a nature person, the backyard is beautiful and so calming. The owner Matt is so kind and thoughtful! What place have you stayed at that (not a hotel) had mini toiletry items in the bathrooms? Extra blankets. Free popcorn. Wifi. Entertainment area. Grill and fire pit. Matt really goes above and beyond, and it shows. And it's pet friendly!! I really could go on but instead just do yourself a favor and book. You won't be disappointed. (Not paid, I just really, really enjoyed it here! )

Accommodating
We stayed at Matthew’s house with our kids and grandkids for our mom’s memorial. Each family had a floor and a bathroom. The outside setting was peaceful, we enjoyed our family time there. Check in was great and check out. Will stay again. Thank you Matt.

Homey place in a great location
What a great stay! My partner and I had a lovely time making this our second home for a few days (if our home was much, much nicer). We loved the comfy beds and the little thoughtful touches like the coffee bar with flavored creamers, herb garden with herbs we could use, and the downstairs play area with Nintendo, games, and a big projector with Netflix all set up to go. Matthew was super responsive to questions. The kitchen was awesome too. We're both foodies and we cooked a gigantic complicated meal, and there was everything we needed. The grill is really nice and big and the stove has a gas griddle for breakfasts. The location is also perfect to get to pretty much anywhere in Leelanau. We did a bike ride up to Fishtown and spent the next day hiking Good Harbor. The place was clean and you could tell it was really well cared for. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and things like Q-tips so we didn't have to pack too much. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely Leelanau Long weekend
We had a really great weekend on the Leelanau Peninsula! We all slept great in the comfy beds, and my partner enjoyed cooking in the really well stocked kitchen. There were all the utensils and pots and pans we needed, sharp knives, oil and vinegar and even fresh herbs from the garden. There were plenty of fresh clean linens. There was one day we didn't leave the property at all because there was enough beauty all around us. There were rare wildflowers (trillium and jack in the pulpit) and a firepit, and the sun was shining on the deck, so we just enjoyed a relaxing day amongst the trees. We also hiked to the top of Sugarloaf mountain and enjoyed the spectacular views from there, and made the very short drive to Good Harbor Beach for a stunning sunset. Matt was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and he obviously puts a lot of care and attention into the place. There are books and magazines about the local area, and lots of little things that make life easier there (like labels on the light switches and towels in every room). There are also board games and puzzles and even an old nintendo system! We will definitely be back! I think next time we'll stay a little longer.

Awesome Vacation
Everything as on VRBO site, it was perfect. Just wanted to get away for 5 days after the holiday. Could not have asked for a better place. I had problem with tv.( cause I'm not a tech) person. Matt came out put on a video exactly how to do it and never had another issue. He was always available to help or answer any questions. It was all just great, would rent again. and everything was close as of winiers and resturants.
