The Villa seemed perfect on the website and should have been great. However lack of maintenance and preparation by the owner meant that it was not the paradise I expected. First I found that he would not provide any linen which is essential for people who travel by flight. I had to call on family and friends in the area to provide necessary items.As we were arriving on a Sunday evening my sister offered to meet him to collect keys. He does not have a key box. He did not send a house user guide and my sister had to spend over 1hr going through the info then had to write it herself. On arrival the downstairs loo handle jammed up. The loo was inaccessible for 2 days. The only loo available was upstairs but the light bulb was dead. The pool was dirty, water opaque, unusable for several days. I light over the patio was dead. One of the upstairs washbasin did not drain properly.I called the owner on Monday morning and he said he could not do anything until Tuesday morning
