Mountain View Casoli

Spacious Town house situated in the old center part of Casoli. Large terrace consists of dinning for 6 and gas BBQ, so you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the Maiella Mountains. 1st bedroom has king size bed, 2nd bedroom has bunk beds, . Kitchen consists of dining seating for 6, cooker, washing machine, microwave, toaster . Living room has 2 sofa beds tv, dvd. From Mountain view you are just a short walk down to the town , which consists of traditional shops and bars. Walk around the corner of the house and you can vist Casoli Castle, or simply relax on the terrace and watch the life of a traditional Italian town. Casoli also has a beautiful lake. Enjoy a lovely meal at the restaurant that over looks the lake. If you like skiing, it is only 50 minutes away in the car. If you want to go to the beach to view the beautiful coastline , it is also only a 30 min drive. I recommend that if you at the coast you visit one of the Trabocchi (old fishing machine) of which many are now restaurants. Majella Mountains is a National Park that is home to brown bears and wolves along with the usual wildlife.The Abruzzo area is also very popular with mountain bikers. Casoli is 45 min drive from Pescara airport. Ryanair operate cheap flights from London Stansted, Paris Beauvals, Milan Bergamo, Brussels Charleroli, Girona Barcelona, Dussledorf Weeze, Franfurt Hahn to Pescara.The house is not suitable for people with disabilities.

Lovely stay in Casoli
Amanda was a wonderful host, so helpful and generous with advice to help us get the most out of our stay. Casoli is a lovely place, and the view from the house's terrace really is just spectacular!

What a lovely town! A great place to loose yourself on the winding streets And the views from the house!! Amazing. The owners were very welcoming, without being over-bearing. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable. Thank you for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Per caso a casoli
La casa era perfettamente in ordine, pulitissima e ci é piacuta moltissimo. Ma, c'é un ma, : Su l'annuncio non parlano di scalinate da fare per arrivare alla casa. Solo dopo aver confermato l'affitto abbiamo avuto informazioni su dove percheggiare e come arrivare alla casa. Noi abbiamo 65 anni e per fare un minimo di 160 gradini sensa contare le salite sensa gradini, guarda eravamo stanchi morti quando arrivavamo la sopra. Arrivata nella casa, abbiamo trovato una bottiglia di vino, grazie per questo. Ma per il resto dentro la casa non c'era niente: 1 rotolo di carta igienica, Non c'era sale ne pepe ne olio ne caffe, neanche un fiammifero per accendere il barbecue perche non accendeva elletronicamente. Non c'era assolutamente niente. Dunque dinuovo scendere al paese per fare un po di spesa necessaria. Capisco che non deve rimanere niente dentro la casa, ma un po di sale pepe e olio???? Non abbiamo mai visto l'host o qualcun'altro...Comunque la casa veramente ci é piacuta, ma come ho detto abbiamo 65 anni e se l' avesse saputo prima non avrei preso questa casa. Sarebbe piu onesto l'host se informassero gia nel annuncio su vrbo. Poi sensa macchina non puoi visitare nulla.

Molto gradito il benvenuto con una bottiglia di Montepulciano. La casa, scelta per il panorama fantastico del terrazzo, è davvero bella e ha tutto ciò che può occorrere. Casoli è un borgo caratteristico e vicino a tanti posti stupendi. Consiglio l'alloggio e tornerò sicuramente

Traumhafter Ausblick
Schönes Haus oben auf dem Berg direkt neben dem Castello Ducale versteckt in den verwinkelten Gässchen der Altstadt. Mit dem Auto selber ist das Haus nicht erreichbar, es gibt aber ein öffentliches kleines Parkhaus in 2 min Entfernung (in der Regel findet man dort einen Parkplatz, man kann aber auch Pech haben). Das Haus selbst erstreckt sich mehr oder weniger über 3 Stockwerke, man hat also einige Stufen. Sowohl für das Haus als auch für die Erkundung von Casoli sollte man gut zu Fuß und rüstig sein (steile Gässchen und viele Stufen). Von der großen Terrasse hat man einen spektakulären Blick auf Casoli und das umliegende Gebirge samt Bergdörfern. Ausgestattet ist das Haus mit allem Notwendigen - vom Gasgrill auf der Terrasse bis zum Gasherd mit Elektrobackofen in der Küche (diese ist auch mit allen Kochutensilien ausreichend bestückt). Da es in Casoli gerne sehr windig sein kann, kühlt das Schlafzimmer bei entsprechendem Durchzug gut ab. Das einzige klare Manko ist das kleine Bad. Sowohl die in die Jahre gekommene Badewanne als auch die Toilette sind sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ist man über 1,80 m groß stößt man beim Duschen an die Decke… Amanda selbst haben wir in diesen 3 Wochen nicht kennengelernt, sie war aber jederzeit per Mail erreichbar. Den Schlüssel haben wir über eine Keybox am Haus bekommen und als Begrüßungsgeschenk gab es eine Flasche Rotwein (die kam nach der langen Reise sehr gut an). Wir hätten uns über wöchentlich frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche sehr gefreut - es ging aber auch so (Waschmaschine ist vorhanden).

Excellent séjour à Casoli ! Dans un logement confortable et bien équipé. Un accueil très chaleureux de Amanda avec une description précise pour trouver le logement. Dommage que les fenêtres ne sont pas équipées de moustiquaires car les nuits sont difficiles avec les moustiques ! Une superbe terrasse bien équipée avec une vue magnifique sur la ville et un superbe panorama sur la Maiella. Merci pour la bouteille de vin de bienvenue !

Tra mare e montagna
Appartamento delizioso, dotato di qualsiasi comfort. Il punto forte è senz’altro la terrazza: spaziosa, comoda, panoramica. Amanda è stata un host impeccabile, dall’invio dettagliato delle indicazioni sia per trovare la casa che il parcheggio (consiglio quello fuori il centro storico), alla disponibilità per l’orario di arrivo e di partenza (grazie anche per la bottiglia di vino di Benvenuto!). Unico consiglio: poiché la sera (in particolare d’estate) in casa fa caldo e fuori ci sono alcuni insetti, inserire delle zanzariere o delle veneziane (porta per la terrazza e camera da letto principale) permetterebbero di dormire molto più freschi.

Un favoloso affaccio sulla maiella
Casa confortevole nonostante la presenza di scale e dotata di tutto. Terrazza stupenda con affaccio favoloso sulla maiella, comoda per rilassarsi a prendere il sole e per mangiare(se non c'è troppo vento). Uniche pecche:bagno un po' piccolo e un po' di scale o salita da fare per raggiungere la casa, ma, se amate camminare e non avete troppo peso, non è un problema! Ci torneremo!
