By far the best place we stayed at during our trip to cusco, the staff are tremendously helpful and friendly. The room is nice and clean I dont have anything to criticize about our stay. Its also well situated, about 10 minutes from anywhere you need to be.

Go through the double doors and straight ahead. The sign is small on the door. Extremely nice and helpful family run property. We had a court yard room on second floor (201). Room was very quaint and nice. They have soap, hair soap and lotion (and hair dryer). Bed was comfy and nice. In room safe. Breakfast (free) is made to order and was amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great place close to everything in Cusco. 100% recommend staying here.

Thoroughly recommend for an amazing stay

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room and ensuite are very clean, and the bed is really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too and we were even offered a packed breakfast when we had to leave at 4.30 am for the Inca Trail. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel while we did the trek. Some people might not like that the breakfast room is not enclosed, so it was initially quite cold but with the heater on and an extra layer, it was fine. This adds to the character of the building.

Like all things it is a matter of what you want. This place is ideally located in the historic centre with close access to alot of things. The staff are lovely and welcome you with coca tea to help you acclimate. The breakfast is made to order and is pretty good. However, our main issue was the noise. The doors are closed at night and need to be opened by the staff so if someone comes in at midnight then everyone hears the doorbell. The staircase is also a point of noise as every room is near to them so you can hear when anyone moves about. The last one is not the property's fault but Cusco likes to have celebrations of their saints at 3-6am. This hotel is on the road that this event goes along so be prepared to be awake all night. The balcony is also misleading as the balcony is facing inwards into the building so you get a nice view of the staircase. Overall, it's not a bad place if you just want a place to operate from while you go on different tours but it wasn't a very relaxing experience.

Having travelled extensively and stayed at various accommodation types, i would say that the staff at Casa Cruz Verde were up there with the best in terms of making the guest feel welcome. its only a small establishment but punched above its weight. Located in the historical area of Cusco and within easy walking distance to all its attractions. Definitely a place i'd recommend to fellow travellers.

Peaceful Boutique Stay Near Plaza de Armas

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Cruz Verde. It’s a cozy, unique boutique hotel tucked inside a quiet courtyard, just a short walk from the Plaza de Armas. The location felt central yet peaceful. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms appear newly renovated while the building itself still retains a beautiful historical charm. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay here again

Behind a set of green wooden doors lies a lovely oasis within this bustling Cuzco neighborhood. The Aguilar Family have created a charming and warm “hotel” that feels more like a Bed & Breakfast due to its cozy & friendly atmosphere! It was great coming back from day trips to clean rooms with incredibly comfortable beds ! On days when we headed out before breakfast the family made sure we left with bags full of fresh fruit and treats to help get us through our journeys ! This is the perfect place to stay in Cuzco due to proximity, comfort and hospitality !

Chic stay in center of town

Room was spacious and stunning, very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping prepared very nice breakfasts and coffee in the morning which was a nice touch to enjoy in the garden. Mario was great— super helpful with my heavy luggage both on arrival and departure. Impressed with the quality and value, recommend!
