The people are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The rooms were just right and the facilities including the pool, gym and spa were fantastic. We never usually consider returning to the same hotel, however in this case we definitely will.

A treat in the winelands

Great stay. Exquisite property. Just sorry I couldnt stay longer. Everything exceptional except the wait for coffee in the morning, a good 30 min wait which needs serious improvement but otherwise nothing to fault. Great staff. Beautiful calm relaxing space.

Beautiful and well maintained property and grounds. The gardens are beautifully planted and a pleasure to walk around. The spa and swimming pool facilities are well appointed; and outdoor lounging and dining areas are great for enjoying the surrounding mountains and fine weather. Stefan’s fine dining restaurant tasting menu was interesting and well executed and staff all knowledgable and friendly. Hope to return! Great spot.

This property said "excellent," from my arrival, where I was greeted by a friendly staff and assisted with my luggage - to checkout, which was handled with efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. The staff was exceptional - the room cleaners, restaurant staff, front desk, security and grounds people. Everyone offered assistance, suggestions on where to visit, and staff even created a special drink for me when I had a raspy throat. The environment was peaceful, each area of retreat offering a different experience. If you're looking for a space to wind down, to treat yourself (the nearby spa), to think, to walk - then this is the place.
